Nice location on the beach, good breakfast, few treats for the guests

We had a suite on the sea side, which did have generous storage space/closets for more people, but was largely under a sloped roof, so the balcony was well filled with a table and two chairs. We also would have preferred a different floor than carpet. In return, "1 bottle of water" was announced in the description - but that was the welcome bonus and unfortunately not daily, as one might have misunderstood (in the Olivo restaurant, there was only very expensive Aqua Panna and San Pellegrino, fancy!). The beds were very good; we slept well except for the night of the alarm and the hotel evacuation. That was after the frustrating soccer game, and we stood around outside from 2 AM to 3 AM because apparently a water pipe had burst and the island fire department had arrived with 3 trucks. A small gesture from the hotel for the guests the next day would have been nice as compensation - but there wasn't one, not even an apology.
At check-in, we were made aware that we hadn't reserved a parking space, and I noted that there had been no indication of such a necessity during the reservation. Thus, we got an outdoor parking space 150 m away for one night, for EUR 15. The next day it was no longer available, and I then opted against the underground parking space for EUR 23/day and made use of the inexpensive parking lot at the train station 300 m away.
Things got better at breakfast, which had a large selection, and where the service was very good, efficient, and friendly. This showed the standard of a Dorint hotel.
I also really enjoyed the indoor pool, which was not busy at either 7:30 or 6:30 PM, so you could swim very nicely. However, there was also a lot of cost-cutting in the wellness department compared to other hotels at this level: Except for water, there was nothing at all, no fruit, no tea, no dried fruit, and in 7 days I never saw anyone there as staff.
Also nice is the practically direct access to the beach, and you could go swimming very well in the sea at the end of June.
Overall, we had a very nice stay, although with a lot of room for improvement regarding the "amenities" and the small gestures from the hotel.

We will be back

A great hotel . The reception was very friendly. Breakfast staff was also great every day - especially the young gentleman from Poland / Czech?. Very attentive and nimble.
What we also loved was the egg station - where you could prepare fresh omelette. Even the hotel management goes around in the morning and chats with someone we haven't experienced before. This kindness runs throughout the house.
We will be back.
Great clean room and our daughter was happy about the playroom

Spontaneous excursion with obstacles

-Check in at the late hour was good
-Breakfast staff was very friendly, fulfilled every wish
-Room very cozy and everything you need
-Swimming pool was very good, sauna was also very good
Location directly on the beach Proximity and central location
Not so good was the price for the dogs,
per night it was 25€ for 1 dog. Since we stayed with 2 arrivals and 2 nights, 100& for Nix! We thought it was excessive as we had not received any benefit for it. No bowl or blanket or treats. Just nothing for the price.
Then also the heating was broken for one night, which was repaired at several requests and then show late afternoon.

Excellent location
