Wellness Island Ole Liese
A quiet, pleasant stay in a beautiful ambiance.
The staff is trained and is very competent and attentive.
without exaggerated "put-on" friendliness.
Breakfast is "served". It is unusual, but as a guest, you certainly feel pampered. The concept is right.
Delicious house-made jams and honey, scrambled eggs were a poem.

Great just half a year ago...
We were already at the restaurant once at the end of January (on recommendation) and were completely enchanted by the fabulous food and the excellent service. Then I was gifted an overnight stay with breakfast and a dinner for my birthday and looked forward to it for several months. Unfortunately, the "Ole Liese" has lost some of its magic.
The staff was very friendly and eager, but seemed overwhelmed and could not maintain the expected/known standard. It had to be laughed off that some wines on the menu were no longer in stock and perhaps should be reordered, and wine advice was difficult.
The food tasted good (except for the bland salad), but could not impress at any point. We were shocked by the cheese plate for €23. A miniature wonderland was brought, for which the types of cheese could not even be named.
Our room in the main building was clean and pretty, but very small and above a humming refrigeration unit with a view of the bottle container in the courtyard.
The building is very noisy and the room door is merely a privacy screen. There are no further extras; you can only stay overnight.
Breakfast was served at the table by choice. We generally liked that very much, but with only 2 servers and a well-filled room, it took a while. Special can be done differently too: Plain cheese from the package (Grünländer Chili, transparent butter cheese) was embarrassing. The rest was okay, but nothing more.
It's a shame that things are going this way right now. We drove home disappointed and wished for the old magic back.

To feel welcome.
On a mini-vacation in February in Schleswig-Hostein we arrived after a cold, cold winter day, where we had been out most of the day to Hotel Ole Liese, where it was clear that we were expected.
Our room already had a good heat, the coffee was ready to be made and there was very clean and nice. Great details after a whole day out. That was what Frau Lamp had done.
The next day's breakfast was served by Frau Hinzmann. She had the fine sense of service and hospitality, which made us feel welcome. Her attention and kindness created a wonderful start to the day. We could look out onto a snow-puddled landscape while eating a delicious breakfast made according to our wishes and with delicious, freshly baked bread.
Overall, our stay at Hotel Ole Liese was a great pleasure and we would like to recommend it to others who are looking for a charming and hospitable place to stay in Schleswig-Holstein.

A place I would recommend
This place is just magical. The restaurant, the area the staff and the food. We spent there one night and I already want to go back. You can rent the super cool myBoo bikes which are handcrafted in Ghana and go for a trip to the beach through beauty of landscape. I feel like I have been on a one week vacation. So relaxing and magical. Thank you ever so much to the whole team of Ole Liese!!

A Birthday Trip
On the occasion of my husband‘s birthday I booked 2 nights on ‚Gut Panker‘. Just a few things only were not ok but not worth mentioning. All others were perfect espec. the meals and the friendlyness and service-orientation of the staff. Also the meeting with Volker Fuhrwerk as well as with his ‚Ladychef of the Garden‘ (Andrea) was a great pleasure. Thks to all for such a enjoyable time at ‚Gut Panker‘ - will definitely come back!
