Highly recommended
We had a wonderful stay!
We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful sauna area – very clean, modern and perfect for relaxing. The location of the hotel is excellent, quiet yet close to all major attractions.
Big praise also to the whole team: The staff were consistently competent, warm and always courteous. You immediately feel welcome here.
A big praise to Mr Baron, who prematurely allowed us to take advantage of the steam bath on the day of departure .
We also recommend the Lomi Lomi Massage - just fantastic

Keep price/performance in mind
We have known the hotel for years and have been guests at the establishment multiple times.
Our recent visit was unfortunately very mediocre. We are talking about a 4-star establishment: when I wanted to place my order for an omelet and a soft-boiled egg at the daily breakfast, I was sent back and forth by the staff. We had the feeling that it is practically a burden to place an order.
There was no "Good morning" from the employees when entering the restaurant for breakfast daily. The service staff seem very overwhelmed and disorganized. At the windows to the terrace, in the breakfast restaurant, fire alarms and cables are hanging loosely. Unfortunately, the general quality of the breakfast does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.
Rooms are of good quality, as always.
The location of the hotel is top-notch.
Cleanliness in the hotel's calling card (foyer - red carpet) should be kept in mind and maintained at all times, even in bad weather.
Unfortunately, we still had to find the gross dirt from the previous day even the next day.
Usage times for the sauna and pool could certainly be adjusted to be more guest-friendly in the summer months. (On weekdays until 8 PM and on weekends only until 9 PM is a bit meager when occupancy is high.)
It would be very desirable for this beautiful hotel to keep up with its aspirations and grow steadily, and not just in terms of price.

Would definitely come back!
The Inselhotel-Potsdam is an oasis of well-being and is located in green surroundings, with access to the lake. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean.
It is a pleasure to have breakfast there, have a delicious meal in the restaurant or on the beautiful terrace. The staff is very helpful and always friendly.
My absolute favorite hotel in the area of Berlin, as my puppy is also welcome there. - M.L. in April 2025

I'd stay again. Beautiful hotel on beautiful grounds. Food was good and the sauna on the water is so cool. Nice indoor and outdoor pool!!!

Beautiful oasis near Potsdam
A beautiful place to relax. Although the hotel was fully booked, there was enough space for everyone.
The location is fantastic, on the one hand secluded and quiet - on the other hand close enough to Potsdam.
Our room was very clean and spacious. There were enough shelves in the bathroom for the cosmetics.
The spa area was also very clean and spacious. We were particularly impressed by the design - our expectations were exceeded.
The breakfast buffet was great, for 4 stars more than appropriate.
For dinner we went to Potsdam because we did not like the food in the hotel. You need a car for that.
Criticisms and suggestions for improvement of the hotel:
- Please turn the hotel into an adult hotel!!!! What are System Sprengerblagen doing in a wellness hotel? Some stupid, reckless parents let their toddlers squat on the terrace from 6.30am in the morning until 0.30am at night - sleep was unthinkable on Friday and Saturday. What a pity
- The chef belongs fired! The food outside breakfast was canteen level
- The sommelier who chooses the wines also belongs fired- insufficient for a 4 star house
- The bar staff must be trained. Instead of whisky sour we got sugar water with flavor. Not enough for a 4 star house
- Set up umbrellas
- Do not let day guests with children in the house
