Better to keep driving ...
We were only in the restaurant and can only give a review about it.
The restaurant has the charm of the 70s.
We had a friendly service, but that was it.
Since furniture comes from another time
Our tablecloth was used and showed this clearly.
The food came relatively quickly, but for us no treat.
We had ordered roast ribs with red cabbage and dumplings and roulade with red cabbage and dumplings.
The sauces were a taste irritated version. The red cabbage was extremely fatty, the roulade boiled and the rib roast was not recommended from the fat/meat content. There must be some fat on it, but the meat content for me is just too low.
If you want to go to the toilets you experience a journey through time.....
There will be no second stop for us...

Old musty unlovingly run hotel
we stayed a week in the hotel for fasting to Buchinger. To get to the rooms you had to climb an old steep staircase. The furniture was old, it smelled musty, the wallpaper needs a new coat of paint. Some of them come off the walls. The wardrobe was equipped with incredible 5 coat hangers made up of a hodgepodge. Despite a large radiator, the room did not warm up because the radiator did not warm up either. In the bathroom there is no heating, no hairdryer and shower gel. Hair dryer can be picked up at the reception. Socket sockets were in short supply. Everything made a loveless impression on us, which was also reflected in the dished soups in the evening and for breaking fast with apple in the rotten, floury apples. Never this hotel again!

Clean and comfortable hotel
I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2021. I booked via booking dot com and the room was very well priced compared to everything else available when I booked last minute. I was travelling by public transport so while the hotel is in a village, it is accessible by public transport. Check in was easy, not sure if the staff speak English. The hotel is comfortable but a little bit old fashioned in terms of decor - not a problem, just an observation. The room I had was furnished simply but had what I needed (hairdryer was available if you asked). The bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast was standard European buffet with plenty of fresh bread and rolls, eggs, cheese, ham, yoghurts cereal etc. I ate there one night, the menu was fairly traditionally German, and the food was nice. There were no/minimal vegetarian options. The hotel has a car park, and if you're on foot, it is max 5 min walk to the train station for the Rasende Roland steam train which goes every 2hours and gets you to Binz, and also the connecting local train to Bergen auf Rugen (buy your ticket on the train for this one). There are some buses too but I didn't use. Also there's a Netto supermarket diagonally opposite which might be handy. For the price it was a good value and convenient place to stay.

Wohltuend freundliche ungekünstelte Gastgeber.
Einfach alles stimmig. Familie Koos und Mitarbeiter sind ein gastriniomisches Aushängeschild. Sie haben uns Unterkunft gegeben ,nachdem wir in Stahlbrode vorher rehelrecht verjagt wurden. Die Zimmer sind wie die menschen freundlich und wir kommen wieder. Viele Grüße aus Dänemark. Mange tal allesammen i skønne ! fra Denmark
