An excellent hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Theophano. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. If we return to Quedlinburg, we will definitely stay here again!

Goose To Go
The Christmas Goose To-Go was just great! Juicy, aromatic and perfectly seasoned – you immediately noticed how much emphasis was placed on quality and preparation. The sauce was also excellent. A wonderful Christmas dinner without stress, but with full enjoyment. Absolutely recommend! ✨

Great hotel in best old town location.
Very nice hotel right on the market square in the middle of the old town. Very friendly welcome, great rich breakfast. All in a half-timbered house. We would definitely come back.

Doubtful experience
The house has come of age and only partially lives up to its claim to run four stars. There are still rooms that do not have a shower, but a bathtub with shower facilities. These rooms have the charm of the 1970s. This is “sold” by the hotel as a deliberately induced feature, as according to the reception it is a house that guests book specifically for this reason. I consider this statement at least dubious. Next to it there are rooms that are modernized and contemporary. These rooms make a neat and clean impression. Which room you get (renovated or ancient) seems to be due to the Schciksal. You can't find out at any point on the hotel's website or on other booking platforms that a dog is taken with you per night at 18€ (!). This leaves at least a "taste" that sales are generated elsewhere.
There is no lift in many parts of the hotel. This is only available in a separate part of the building where only rooms of a high-quality category are available.
The Wi-Fi signal fluctuates both qualitatively and quantitatively. An incomprehensible separation of the signal occurs again and again.
In addition, there is a breakfast buffet, which is charged per person per day at 17.50 (according to the notice). Breakfast does not live up to this claim. For example, the following details cast doubt on whether this meets both the price and the 4-star claim: Thermoses with filter coffee are laid out on the tables as standard, this is thin and only lukewarmly temperature-controlled from 9:30 am (breakfast time is until 10:30 am); coffee specialities are only available on express order, these have a distinct bitter note; only two types of baked-on rolls in the simplest quality (multi-grain and plain wheat roll); apart from cheese, there is no vegetarian and no vegan alternative; no signage or description of the toppings or cereals offered throughout; the Service meets only slightly during peak hours between 9:00 am and 9:45 am to restock the already very small buffet.
Free parking is available only to a negligible extent. It is recommended by the reception to drive to a paid car park (8€ per day) in 5 minutes walking distance.

In erster Linie ist es wirklich sehr schade, dass wir Ihren Erwartungen an das Hotel Theophano leider nicht gerecht werden konnten.
Das familiengeführte Hotel Theophano hat zugegebenermaßen, seinen etwas eigenen Charme und den muss man durchaus mögen. Dieser Charme wird von der Geschäftsleitung, von Gästen und dem gesamten Team gelebt und geliebt.
Uns ist durchaus bewusst, dass die Zimmer im historischen Teil des Hauses, nach und nach renoviert werden müssen. In dieser Phase befinden wir uns auch gerade und Sie werden verstehen, dass Renovierungsarbeiten in einem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude, sehr umfangreich sind und dadurch nur in der Nebensaison stattfinden können. Auch möchten wir aus Rücksicht auf unsere Gäste, die Lärmbelästigung so gering wie nur möglich halten.
Das Hotel Theophano verfügt glücklicherweise über ein großes Spektrum an Zimmerkategorien und ich denke, da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ob mit Badewanne oder Dusche, Treppe oder Fahrstuhl, dies kann jeder Gast selbst entscheiden und dementsprechend seine Buchung vornehmen.
Welche Zimmerkategorie über welche Ausstattungsmerkmale verfügt, kann unserer Homepage entnommen oder bei telefonischer Buchung auch gern direkt erfragt werden.
Wir haben uns bewusst für die Beherbergung von Haustieren in bestimmten Zimmerkategorien entschieden, um auch diesen Gästen die Möglichkeit zu geben, den geplanten Urlaub zusammen mit ihrem geliebten Vierbeiner verbringen zu können.
Alle diese Informationen werden völlig transparent mit Preisangabe über unseren Internetauftritt kommuniziert. Da wir auch über allergikerfreundliche Zimmer verfügen, ist die Mitnahme eines Haustieres nicht in jeder Kategorie gestattet.
Das gesamte W-Lan Netz im Haus, wird derzeit umgestellt und zeitgemäß ausgebaut. Leider läuft dies noch nicht ganz rund und muss noch nachjustiert werden. Für diese Unannehmlichkeiten möchte ich mich entschuldigen.
Dass die Parksituation für unsere Gäste nicht unbedingt vorteilhaft ist, ist uns bekannt. Bedauerlicherweise ist bedingt durch die zentrale Lage direkt am Marktplatz, keine andere Parksituation möglich und wir sind froh, dass wir unseren Gästen wenigstens diese kostenfreie Alternative anbieten können.
Der im Übernachtungspreis enthaltene Frühstücksanteil entspricht 8,00 € pro Person & Tag.

A very nice quarter
The hotel is located in a historic house, which is part of the marketplace development.We stayed
in the junior suite under the roof in the new
building.It consists of a sleeping and
a living room,both large and modern furnishings,also with a TV set each.Also the bathroom was very nice
large with perfect shower.Only the sink was cramped in one corner.
The breakfast was fine, but it was not followed up.That dogs are also allowed in the breakfast room we found very unhygienic and disturbing.
The hotel's own parking lot is about 100m away.
