Breakfast at the Berghotel hoch Mark
When paying we should suddenly pay 5 more than it was on the flyer or on the homepage. Supposedly the price would have gone up and you would have forgotten to adjust the price on the homepage or on the flyers. You can't do that. Sheer rip-off.

Lived up to expectations.
Pro:
- location, location, location
- room (nr 19) was sufficiently large and fine bathroom (but small shower cabin) with bath
- friendly staff
By the way, we saw a couple being turned away from a 4-seater table during breakfast, while it was not crowded at all (needless action).
- clean
- food/drink for reasonable prices and decent
- good breakfast buffet.....if you want an egg you have to ask for it yourself.
Con:
- the extraction of the kitchen was near the windows of our room......for a while the room smelled like a chip cart....but that quickly disappeared after dinner.
- based on another Review had brought a fan themselves (which the hotel would not provide) and that was necessary, the room was warm (nb we have not checked if the hotel indeed did not provide fans)
- price/quality ratio could be better. Almost €150 for a night in a 3 star hotel is not little.
When we were there it wasn't crowded. Whether/how the service can hold up when it is busy I wonder.

Do you understand fun?
We were the first guests that night, and were placed at a round table in the middle of the room. Which was “okay” until then. It fell directly on that there were many flies. It was not possible for us to talk undisturbed in the first 20 minutes, as the somewhat over-hyped serviceman at the next table cleared a coffee company, and loudly put it into a serving trolley.
Ordering drinks was already a challenge for the employee.
Our appetizer order, which according to the card should consist of 4 slices of bruscetta, did not come at first. Instead of the appetizer, the announced way was to deliver the ordered burger. Lovelessly served, the half-frozen brioche rolls, which were also dust-dry and old, were topped by cold and previously only warmed-up burger meat. In the same breath, the ordered bruscetta, which was supposedly forgotten and lost somewhere in the depths of the kitchen, came out cold and soaked on the table. Probably that someone was hungry in time, because out of 4 slices (according to the map) there were suddenly only 3 ! You can also share much better for two.
When the waitress came to clear out and we made our displeasure known; among other things, the frozen BurgerBrioche, the waitress drilled around with her gel nails in the bun, perhaps looking for answers ?! No excuse, nothing at all.
We then demanded the invoice (or dissolution by Guido Cantz).
Well, easier said than done. Payments with a card of the savings bank are not possible there according to the service!! Nothing like this has happened to me yet!!!
Luckily, my companion had cash with him, so we could put an end to it all.
Nevertheless, the staff was so convinced that they still wanted to tout the buffet on Wednesday.
Thanks, but this first and only visit was enough for us.
We'll be thinking about visiting her restaurant for a long time to come, but not in the good one.
