Superb hotel and a real bargain. Rooms very plain but not austere,bed super comfortable and bedroom was large and spacious. Excellent food in the restaurant and good breakfast.

All right, but nothing special.

Actually, the hotel is nothing special, the rooms have more of a hospital atmosphere. The breakfast was fine and the service courteous. I felt the price of the accommodation of 120€ however for the standard which is offered as a bit too high.

A hotel with a lot of love for Datail!

A great hotel with great attention to detail!!!
The staff is very attentive and nice, the generous and lovingly designed breakfast, some with own creations, very delicious and the spacious and cozy rooms lovingly and newly decorated.
Everything great!!! We would definitely come back!

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Grand trains room. Outdoor areas are not quite ready yet and the rooms lack one or the other, but where quick relief was provided. Breakfast is served at the table during the week and a rich buffet on weekends. The staff in the morning was very friendly and helpful. The staff in the evening leaves something to be desired.

The ideal anchorage for East Frisia tours

Brand new in the middle of East Frisia: Finally a nice, comfortable hotel with a good restaurant in Rhauderfehn. If you are looking for an ideal starting point for tours to Leer, Papenburg, but also Emden and Aurich, you are in good hands here. The “Old Navigation School” in Rhauderfehn was built with a lot of love and expertise into a wonderful country hotel. Large guest rooms, well-equipped with box spring beds and spacious bathrooms, leave nothing to be desired.
The associated restaurant “Ankerplatz” offers a modern menu with lots of vegetarian dishes and lots of fish, but also steaks, schnitzels and lamb. Unfortunately we were only there for one evening, we would have liked to try different dishes. The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was right. The service was very quick and accommodating. In summer there is a large outdoor area.
The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. We would like to come back to the “Old Navigation School” with its “anchorage”.
