Typical Italien Pizza

We had a great evening in a pictures Beergarten (just the trains where loud and noisy.) Service was great..we had great chat with the Pizza cook. The Pizza was not in the normal shape... Look like an Italien map :-)

Quite Place to relax

It’s a family run hotel and good place to relax. Kind land lady. You need a minimum of 2 days to relax. Train noise is less when windows are closed. Actual location is Assmannshausen and Rüdesheim as informed. Get down at Assmannshausen station n walk by 6 minutes. No complaints.

Clean and tidy

Hotel is in centre of town close to railway station,ideal for trips and walks.owner and staff were friendly.Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Restaurant does lovely Pizzas
Overall a very relaxed atmosphere.
Only downside that didn't bother us is that the hotel is close to the very busy railway.

Soggiorno vicino al fiume reno posto incantevole albergo e ristorante ottimo pizza buonissima proprietaria gentilissima e di compagnia. Consigliato per l’accoglienza e per il cibo e tutto ... Made in naples

Qualität hat einen Namen – und zwar nicht Monte Somma

Sissi, Bismarck, Wilhelm II. – Assmannshausen ist schon lange ein Hochkaräter unter den rechtsrheinischen Reisezielen. Dass die Herrschaften im Hotel Monte Somma hausten, ist jedoch mehr als fraglich: altbacken und aus der Zeit gefallen ist diese Absteige allemal. Die Möbel stammen aus den 60ern, die Zimmer sind so dunkel, dass man selbst tagsüber das Licht einschalten muss. Geleitet wird das Hotel von einer launischen, hektischen Besitzerin, die mit ihrem Betrieb völlig überfordert scheint. Als wir im hauseigenen Biergarten nach der Rechnung fragten, blaffte sie uns an, sie habe jetzt keine Zeit, wir sollten einfach 15€ auf den Tisch legen. Unter Kaiser Wilhelm wäre das sicher nicht passiert.
