Fantastic

Sank goar is a amazing place to visit..
Its a small town..but you have to take a walk through the back streets..
Hotel montag is a family run hotel..
The rooms are all different..some bigger than others and the beds are so comfy, with big soft pillows.
No lift..its only a small hotel so just take your time and take a small bag or ask mike or Ali to take it up for you..
Great bar...
proper jaeger..served at -21..lovely
Bitbuger beer and tasty coffee..
I've stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed it..
It's across the road from the rhine river and it right in town.. There is a cuckoo clock and beer stien shop opposite...
It's clean..its cosy..good beer and shots as well as great tasting coffee

Poor Quality family run Hotel

This Hotel is perhaps central to nothing. If you elderly avoid only stairs. Passage has a smell not sure if its a drain but terrible smell. Food average nothing extras. Duvet super hard makes one itch. Pillows need a fill or new ones had it days. This looks more like backpackers. Lights does not work correct in passage as it does not go on as it should. Will never recommend this hotel not even to my German friends or collegues

Most disgusting hotel ever...don't go here

This is the most disgusting hotel ever I have visited in my travels. We stayed with a Contiki tour group and there was bed bugs. The room was filthy including the bathroom..there was hair as well all over the sheets in the bed with the beg bugs. We informed the hotel staff..who gave us a don't care attitude.. we slept on the floor with a thin duvet..heater was not working...we were freezing. Some of the girls on tour with us slept on the stairway as they couldn't even sleep on the hotel room floor..it was filthy. Luckily we had only stayed 1 night..it was a bad reflection on Germany. Don't be deceived by the pictures on the travel websites.

Bed bugs!!!

Stayed here with a contiki group. I had BED BUGS in my room. Bites all over my chin and chest! Disgusting. I still haven’t even brought my suitcase in from my car because I am so freaked out!!!!! Ugh nasty!!!!

Great Hotel very clean and a warm welcome

We stopped here I would recommend this hotel had a wonderful view of the Rhine it has a nice bar and a good breakfast Mike the owner was very friendly and helpful he speaks fluent English Our room was very clean shower was great and in town center
