Lovely hotel, shame about the location

Hotel was very nice with a good breakfast. Nice clean room and reception very friendly.
Location is the problem. In our opinion not a single decent restaurant in the area. Available beer cafes were not for the faint hearted!
Hotel referred us to Zum Lowen Greek restaurant next door as decent restaurant but frankly it was awful. See separate review.

Weekend visit

Staying in the Arador is a very pleasant experience, lovely hotel right in the middle of the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfy old style rooms but with fab modern ensuite bathrooms. I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Sankt Leon.

Very Pleasant Experience

Excellent boutique hotel located close to the A5 and A6 intersection. Specious and very quite rooms with all the necessary amenities including a tablet through which you can get access to the internet. Pleasant and polite reception staff. Good breakfast including coffee for a low price (7.5E! per person). Lots of parking available. The only slight side was the lack of an elevator but I am sure the polite stuff would help carry your luggage, in the rare cases it would be necessary. This is a boutique hotel (about 15 rooms I think) so the whole experience is much more personal. The experience is completely different than that of the big, crowded and noisy hotels - a much better experience in my opinion.

Kudos to Arador

Charming boutique hotel located 10-15 minute drive from SAP St Leon Rot offices
Lovely room well decorated and clean, pleasant reception staff
Delicious dining & breakfast as well
Highly recommend, only one regret you will need a car or taxi drive if you visit SAP offices in St Leon Rot

Visiting Exchange Student

We are visiting an exchange student we had in the US back in 2015. The family chose this hotel for us to stay in while here. This is a small boutique hotel nested in downtown St Leon Rot. When you walk in you will see a bar to the left, small eating are to the right and a check in desk in the middle. the hotel only has a few rooms so it is always quiet. We had a room tucked in the back that opened to the courtyard. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are very accommodating. Because we left early in the morning and came back late at night we were not able to use the breakfast or bar to rate them. However, our stay was very comfortable and we loved the hotel.
