Life is hard and unjust, but we love and live it.

In 2015 we had a guest , to whom we already told his telephone inquiry that it is our last room . He then wanted to negotiate the PRICE at the reception, which we did not accept. It was a room that went into renovation the week after. So the guest also searched and found defects and published them. We're all just people and never perfect, sometimes have a good day and sometimes everything goes wrong. There are people who are good-natured and go through the world with understanding and there are people who are demanding, even malicious and without conscience.
Since 2016 the room is in top condition ,tip top renovated , and a regular told us that the pictures of the unrenovated room , which are already over ten years old are still on our trivago page. We have no way to delete them.at least we don't know how to do it . Hence this statement.

Very good experience

Very welcoming and nice staff! It was very cozy enviorment. Comfortable room with fresh and newly renovated bathroom. Good facilities in the room/bathroom. The food was authentic and well cooked. Very good experience!

Nice nature

I stayed at this hotel when I was on tour with a band. I was sharing a room with a collegue, so I was not amused when we got a double bed. Luckily the owner switched the room for us. Very helpful!The food was nice and the place was old fashioned which I like. What I did not like was the loud music blasting in the morning. I had a late night and was working late, so I was hoping that I could get some more sleep. Nice nature around.

Old fashioned hotel with old fashioned values

Stayed here on a business trip & at first, I was a bit sceptical of the old style look but the family style run of the place, the quality of the food & helpful staff proved to be a great visit for me. I can highly recommend this lovely old style hotel for any occasion.

A very old hotel - very well kept - very well staffed!

I had my concerns when I first arrived as my room was not ready. This was my fault as I failed to provide sufficient details. It was late at night (11:00pm) and I was told that they expected a "single man" and not a "married couple". We were given a second rate room - but only for that 1st night. During the day, our suitcases were transferred to a larger double-bed room in the main house. This room was very clean, bright and quiet. In spite of being an older hotel, it was very well maintained.
Breakfast was more than adequate and the fresh cooked food was excellent! (We choose to dine at the hotel on several occasions as the food was so well prepared.)
The hotel owner and his staff frequently went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their English was limited and yet, we always understood each other.
