JULE TUR

Nice old hotel located in the centre of Schleswig, had 2 nights with 3 dishes menu both days, however rooms could well need an update, especially the beds which were well used and do not live up to the standard, the food was also a little disappointing as it was typical German dishes they served and the first day was most disappointing, the second day was so much better and could be well eaten, but the service was totally ok.

Charming family hotel with warm reception

If you are looking for a modern hotel, where everything is perfect down to the last detail, then Hotel Hohenzollern in Schleswig may not be the right choice. But if you want to experience a genuine German family hotel – a bit outdated, not quite tip top, but full of charm, warmth and genuine hospitality – then this is an excellent option.
The hotel is located in a quiet area and offers a relaxing atmosphere. At the same time, it is only about fifteen minutes walk to the city's pedestrian area. When we visited Schleswig on 5–7 December, there was also a cosy Christmas market there, which made the location even more appreciated.
The rooms are not very large and there are flaws, but they have character. Among other things, a radio from the 70s (?) that did not work in the panel by the bed. However, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The corridors are not straight but wind their way around like a little maze in the old house, which only enhances the homely feeling. Where we stayed there was also an elevator.
The restaurant is rustic and typically German in style, and the staff were consistently very service friendly. We booked through Risskov and the package included two 3-course dinners, which were really good. Full value for money!
The hotel also seems to be very popular with the locals – during our stay there was a dance competition with a subsequent party in another venue.
The breakfast may not have been the most luxurious I've had, but it did its job.
What really stood out was the staff. They made us feel seen and cared for, making the whole stay memorable.

Sur Old Hotel

We will not come again and the place we can not recommend. We had breakfast and dinner with in the stay. Morning buffet is ok. But dull dinner with overcooked frost vegetables.

The hotel is just old. The staff is very friendly and qork hard to cator to everyone, they can hide the fact that the facility is in need of care and maintenance.

Terrible experience. The worst hotel we've been to in Germany!

A collection hotel of worst drawer. We were there as driving myself couple. But the hotel is only geared for all the buses.
The food was really poor. And the service even worse. And when we complained we were screwed out of the old owner.
Besides the rooms in the hotel have the 2 other accommodation places where we were on the one. Something old I... to put it straight. The radio in the wall smoked into the wall when you tried to turn it on.
The hotel is worn out and we felt not welcome at all.
We're never going back here!
