Lovely location, stunning views. Clean room, comfy bed, in fact i had the best sleep I'd had in ages, so quiet. Fantastic breakfast and only a short walk into the old town. There is a brewery/ restaurant just down the road which does fab food and beer.

Poor value for money

Check in from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekend can also be arranged, but you can't get through to anyone. Nobody tells you that breakfast is from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. We stood in front of a cleared breakfast room at 9:08 a.m. No staff to be seen except briefly at check-in. The building seems empty, unoccupied. Stairs dirty. Restaurant closed. Room on the 3rd floor with no elevator and no air conditioning. The room itself is fine but there is dust everywhere, it seems that no one has lived in it for a while. If you keep everything on a low flame you can't charge such a price. Never again!

Superb week in a very comfortable, well-appointed hotel

This was a brilliant find. Spent a very enjoyable 7 days staying here – a quiet, family-run hotel with everything you could ask for in terms of clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfasts and evening meals were superb and the hotel is well-placed; a short, pleasant walk to reach the old walled town. Ample parking. Staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We're very much hoping to return in the future.

Good value for money:-)

I've stayed at this hotel many times already for business. They have renovated rooms which are nice with modern bathrooms. A bit smallish but perfectly ok for one person. Breakfast is also good and includes scrambled eggs, espresso (you need to ask for it) is served in nice cups.
Also there is sufficient parking outside (free).
I can definitely recommend Hotel Holl.

Nothing special, but acceptable for a night

This is outside the town walls and reasonably close to the banhof. The room was clean, but my biggest concern was that the bed had one terrible pillow that was flat as a mailing envelope.
It was apparently off season because no one was available when I checked in and they gave me a key to let myself in and out later that night.
I would stay there again, but would probably check out other hotels in the area.
