The hotel was great. The staff in particular was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place any day of the week.
The only problem we had was due to the extreme heat while we’re there and the fact that there was no air conditioning and only one table fan for two adjacent rooms.

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Waldmann

We stayed for two nights at this hotel which is in a beautiful spot! We reserved a balcony room and had great views of the Neuschwanstein Castle. The staff made us feel very welcome and were perfectly fluent in English. The room was a great value for the cost. It was very spacious with a small sofa, a table, and another table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The bed was big and very comfortable. The bathroom was large too and the shower pressure and temperature were great after a long day traveling! We ate dinner in the restaurant one of the evenings and it was delicious! If you are planning to visit this beautiful area of Bavaria, Hotel Waldmann is the perfect choice for lodging!

Clean room and friendly staff. One side of the hotel has a gorgeous view of Neuschwanstein. A short drive to Hohenschwangau to visit the castles and overlook. The breakfast is definitely European/ German style but you can get cooked to order eggs. Cute playground and garden swing.

This was a great place to stay. Super clean, comfortable bed and a great location to the castles. It was also a great stop for some day trips near by.
