Nice and quiet place to unwind

We spent an extended weekend on the organic farm. When we arrived, we had to ask the location of the apartments. We wouldn't have found it without the receptionist's telephone help. The keys were in the room door. We had a room with shared kitchen and bathroom. It was pleasant because you only had to share the kitchen and bathroom with another party.
The rooms were clean and well maintained and you had access to a balcony. The fridge was small but functional. Groceries can be bought either at the organic farm shop on site or in a supermarket around it. Also the farm cat had access to the balcony and brought us gifts every night. But that's part of court life.
The location of the farm is good. Schwerin Central Station can be reached within 10 minutes by bike. Lake Schwerin and the bike path to Wismar are close to the hotel.
We would definitely come back.

What an AMAZING place!

I absolutely loved my stay here. When we checked in we were delighted to drink some fresh made apple juice from the farm. Then we walked around and say baby cows, free range chickens, and piglets as well. The room was nice and the mattresses were very comfortable. It’s amazing this property sits on a little lake as well! Everyone was so friendly that we met. 10/10 recommend for a minimum of a few nights.

Ausgezeichnetes Hofcafé

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Das Hof-Café ist auch zum abendlichen Essen gehen sehr zu empfehlen:
Das Personal vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und persönlich. Die Karte ist eine kluge, abwechslungsreiche und moderne Mischung von Gerichten, die sich um die Produkte des Hofes drehen und eine Preisspanne von 10-30€ abdecken. Die Gerichte sind von hohem Standard und überzeugen mit rustikalem Charakter und einer Mischung aus klassischer und moderner Technik. Im Übrigen verdient das Café auch als Restaurant mehr Aufmerksamkeit über die Grenzen von Schwerin hinaus und zumindest eine dauerhafte Erwähnung in den gängigen Restaurant-Führern.
Der Gin aus der Destille im Café ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Kaffee trinken im Hofcafe

Im Internet sind wir auf dieses Hofcafe gestoßen. Mit den Motorrädern fuhren wir Richtung Schwerin. Ohne Navigation hätte ich das nicht gefunden. Schön abgelegen und ruhig hier. Die Hühner laufen hier frei herum, die Pferde grasen auf der Weide.
Im Café bestellten wir 2 Cappuccino und 2x Pflaumen Streusel Kuchen. Beides sehr lecker und Bio. Sehr schön hier. Die Straße hierher ist ein Knüppelacker. Aber dafür können die Gastronomen nichts. Die Speisekarte ist auf einem Stück Holz geschrieben, tolle Idee. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Schöner Biohof

Die Zimmer waren einfach (ohne Fernseher) aber sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Küche und Bad mit allem was man benötigt. Alles sehr sauber. Der Ausblick von der Terasse auf den Hof mit freilaufenden Hühnern und Schafen phantastisch. Morgens und abends eine schöne Ruhe ohne Stadtlärm. Der Hofladen und das Cafe bieten leckere Sachen. Die Menschen alles sehr freundlich und entspannt.
