Here you can still hear nature

Awakened to birdsong - first view into the green - what can be nicer. Airplanes were of course near the airport but disturbing aircraft noise in no case!! Food very delicious (good selection for everyone was something and also the special requests of allergy sufferers were gladly taken into account) and the atmosphere was just wonderful. We were taken care of without it being intrusive. I'd love to come back.

The automated check in procedure is a mess.
The hotline in case there are issues was not available. Could not even leave a message.
This hotel has two different buildings. And two different lock boxes for the keys. Only one is mentioned in the greeting email. Absolutely mindbogglingly stupid.
If it were not for a lady working in the nearby restaurant I would have stood in the rain even longer.
The room while clean and decent was very small and lacked even a stool.

Unfortunately in the approach path

In principle, we could confirm all positive reviews. Nice big rooms, good facilities, great location.
Unfortunately, it was nothing about the quiet in the forest. From about 4:00 in the morning for 2 hours one plane after another came purely partly at an interval of 3 minutes. That's when it ended with the night's sleep. The hotel was located the night we were there exactly in the approach path of Cologne / Bonn airport. Even with the window closed, the planes could still be heard clearly.
If that doesn't bother you, he can stay here.
Attention. There is a code to check in, you should write it down. There is no internet reception on site to access the code in your mobile phone. Luckily, the chef of the grape host was able to help us.

Slept well in Villa Waldesruh

I was at Villa Waldesruh for a conference.
The rooms were large, bright and very comfortable.
The bathroom was almost as big as the room in other hotels.
The beds were good and I slept very well despite the problems I usually have sleeping in other people's beds.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.
The villa is on the edge of the forest and there are certainly many opportunities to hike through nature.
