Small but fine; a real gem...
Time out on Rügen/Sellin to spend some relaxing days with good friends. For this I had reserved 2 deluxe double rooms with balcony.
The “Hotel meerblau” is located a good 400 m walk from the beach or approx. 900 m from the pedestrian (center). Walking distance to everything.
The hotel itself on large property with its own parking (for a fair fee). Even in the lobby it becomes clear that here in the “sea blue” is furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. Everything is right, fitting; you immediately feel at home and at ease....
Modern, bright rooms with everything you need (mini bar, kl. Coffee machine for early coffee, large TV), modern bathroom. Top!
Everything super clean, who likes it with daily fresh towel set.
And breakfast tops everything; this is served in the guest/breakfast room. Again, the decor was done with love, the details fit well together. Nice.
For meals: If you don't get fed up here, it's your own fault. Wide breakfast with fresh bread/buns, cold cuts, cheese, jam, honey, fish and fish products, eggs in various variations, cereal, yogurt etc...
A good start to the morning is pre-programmed! Great.
Everything is rounded off by nimble, good and competent service.
Summary: All top, I highly recommend.
What can be improved? One point I found.....please exchange the cheap, unstable toilet roll holder for a stable, functional product. And then please buy 2 or 3 ply paper.... even small things make guests happy.

Great Stay in Sellin
The family owners of this charming small hotel couldn't be more helpful. We travelled by car from the UK and they allocated us a parking space, explained to us the advantages the city tax payment gives visitors. Our room was very tastefully decorated, all the amenities you would expect. We had a drink at their bar in a wonderful dining room, which is used for breakfast in the morning, which is very extensive.They no longer do evening meals, but directed us to some fine restaurants a short walk away.
We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Jorg the owner was on hand for any questions, along with a very helpful waiter called Kurt.
All in all a very pleasant stay in a lovely part of Rugen Island .
Highly recommended, nothing to fault from our point of view.

We stayed 10 days at the Hotel Meerblau. We had a great time. The Owners, as well as employees, each individual super friendly!
A great hotel... modern furnishings. Everything super clean. The breakfast buffet was very good.... Various bread rolls, cheese, sausage, salads, scrambled eggs, boiled egg, salmon, tomato/mozzarella, jams/nutella, cereal/cornflakes, yogurt, wide selection of fruits and vegetables, cakes, coffee (everything your heart desires... cappuccino, latte macciato...) tea, juices, water, milk.
Everything was permanently replenished.
The location of the hotel is great.
Within walking distance is everything... the beach, Wilhelmstrasse with restaurants and shops, a supermarket....
We will definitely come back.

Very pleasant handling of guests by Owners and staff. The principle customer is king is lived without it appearing intrusive.
Breakfast was good. The room was adequate in size. For reading enthusiasts, the free range of epaper magazines is pleasant.

Just unforgettable!
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Meerblau for the second time.
And they were wonderfully beautiful days again. There is simply nothing that would not be made possible here for the guest. The boss and his wife, including employees mega adorable...
An absolutely family atmosphere. The entire hotel pikobello clean and everything harmonious and tastefully decorated. And in his mind, the boss is working on more and more great ideas. Food top and also for non-fish eaters like me, there are alternative and delicious solutions. Even here magic is done, even if it is not on the map.
Yesterday was departure and I am longing for this hotel again.
Why on earth must a holiday always be over so terribly fast...
A big thank you once again to the entire staff.
We will definitely come back!
