A successful family vacation!

Bavarian warmth - from the first moment on, you feel like you are a guest among good friends.
Peace and warmth from the staff: The staff is consistently extremely friendly, attentive, and obliging.
Regardless of whether you need tips for excursions or simply appreciate an uncomplicated, warm manner - hospitality is truly lived here.
Ideal for families: a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere makes the stay equally pleasant for parents as well as the children.
Including Chiemgau Card: A real added value for the region! The Chiemgau Card opens up access to many attractions, lake areas, hiking trails, and other experiences - practical, convenient, and cost-saving.
That makes every day a new highlight.

Rude, rude boss!!

not recommended, dealing with people was extremely disrespectful, silly sayings knocking and just looking for sales. Bad Service, dishonest and inauthentic appearance, played friendliness of the boss, that was felt immediately.

Gourmet cuisine, although traditional, differs from local restaurants
The boss listens and offers us dishes that highlight his traditions
We are friends who frequent the area every year for river fishing

This Hotel is perfect and authentic

We just spent several days at the Hotel Der Hammerwirt. We came all the way from Arizona USA to stay here. Not only was Barvaria Beautiful, but the Hotel Der Hammerwirt was excellent. The food was authentic and delicious. All made from the best ingredients and very fresh.
Rooms were more than comfortable and staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Michael is owner, chief and top dog. He and his son just run an excellent establishment. 5 stars !

Great guesthouse to feel good

We have now been to the Hammerwirt for the 6th time and once again had a great stay in this inn with delicious food and a lovely host family and team. Pure holiday enjoyment in Chiemgau!!! We are already looking forward to the next time :-)
