Nice little hotel in the heart of Speyer.

Very friendly staff. Totally straightforward. Was delighted with the beautiful large double room. Furnishing nice, everything very clean. Service very good. I just stayed there, unfortunately. I noticed the good mattresses in the beds.
Parking in the courtyard of the hotel somewhat limited. Anytime happy to go back there.

Super stopover on trip to the South

We only stayed one night in transit.
Central yet quiet. Also had a nice afternoon and evening in picturesque Speyer.
Large, clean rooms, comfortable beds.
Accessible bathroom.
The breakfast we did not use.
Easy parking in the yard, nice staff.
Reception not staffed throughout.

Great place to stay and great value

Chosen at random from bookings.com because of price. Wow- big airy room and huge bathroom to hang all our clothes after washing them- on a cycling tour. Was very pleasantly surprised. And a good breakfast too.

Quiet, comfortable hotel

Excellently sited within short walk of centre of town this is a very good B & B, there being no restaurant and limited Reception opening times. The staff are welcoming and very helpful, the room standard high and a good breakfast available. A very good Italian restaurant, La Luna, is almost next door. There are about 8 car parking spaces available.

Does exactly what is needed

This is a no frills basic hotel....but a very good one.
It is within 12 minutes walk of the cathedral (down the main street), and a few minutes further to the Technical Museum. So it is pretty central, and within a few minutes walk of some of the better restaurants as well.
There is a small car park: seemed to fill up after about 1 pm. There is a pay underground car park a few metres away. We did not need to use that.
The room was large, very clean (and cleaned while we were at breakfast), and had a perfectly adequate shower/wc etc. Elaborately (and expensively) decorated it was not, but it was absolutely fine.
Breakfast was pretty good: no other meals are provided, but there is a self-service place with a fridge and kettle.
Reception was good...high standard of English....and welcoming.
Good prices for a city centre hotel.
Public areas could do with some refreshing, but all clean.
So if frills do not matter, but price, cleanliness, location and convenience do, try this hotel
