Beautiful location on the lakeshore

Spacious and well-maintained rooms, rich breakfast with fresh products on a large terrace with a magnificent view of the lake, friendly and helpful staff.

Great location

Great location, however some practices and the beds were very dated. Could easily be a four or five star review if the beds were better quality and if staff were a bit more welcoming and friendly.

Wir verwenden qualitativ hochwertige Matratzen, dennoch ist das Liegeempfinden natürlich sehr individuell. Bezüglich des Services nehmen wir Ihre Rückmeldung sehr ernst – unser Team ist normalerweise für seine Freundlichkeit bekannt, schade, dass Sie andere Erfahrungen gemacht haben. The property was fine. The room was large and convenient for our family of four but everything is very old and outdated.
Plus points for the food, which was absolutely excellent.
Service- ok. Not the friendliest staff and yes, compared to an average German location.
Ridiculous that you have to pay 15 euros for lost keys. They also don’t let you know upon checkin so that was an unpleasant surprise.
Sauna is small and you have to book in advance
Overall it was fine but I expected nicer facilities and room for the price!!

Barvarian traditional lakeside hotel. Amazing private spa. Great breakfasts. Close to Munich too
