A wonderful weekend at the Hotel FreiWerk
We had a wonderful weekend as a family at Hotel FreiWerk.
Our two rooms were conveniently located right next to each other, they were spacious and very high-quality modern. Below us was the spa area, which is perhaps a bit scarce with a Finnish and a herbal sauna (both with wonderful views of nature) at peak times, as well as possibly the cozy relaxation room, but for us this was a perfect fit. Bathrobes and towels were of course from the hotel, in the rooms there were separate pockets for them.
The hotel itself is very nicely located on a small elevation, so you have a beautiful view over all of Stolberg. The building fits perfectly into the area on the outside, but is decorated very high-quality, modern and discreetly elegant on the inside. The very modern but non-intrusive buildings of the spa suites are located in the courtyard, so to speak.
The entrance to the gourmet restaurant 20zwanzig is right next to reception and the very cozy lounge. We ate there on both evenings and enjoyed both the wonderful food prepared by the kitchen team around Mr. Liebisch and the attentive, recital and professional service, once by Mrs. Schneider and once by Mr. Kurowski. Two very special evenings!
Breakfast takes place in the same premises and leaves nothing to be desired from front to back. A very cozy, high-quality hotel, which I can highly recommend down to the last detail!

Wonderful!!
We had a wonderful weekend in a SpaSuite. From the equipment, the cleanliness (a big praise to the cleaning team), to the staff, everything perfect. Sauna, steam sauna, outdoor whirlpool, a fantastic bed, a coffee machine (coffee capsules, milk, sugar available) in the service corner, a stocked minibar (2 x cola,4 x water,2 x beer) with snacks (chips, nuts, gummy bears, chocolate)...here everything is thought of to completely relax.
Arrive, slip into the bathrobe provided and enjoy...
The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. The service at the 20zwanzig was for breakfast as well as for dinner in the evening (as a guest you have automatically "reserved" a table, the indication of a time is desired for better planning, absolutely understandable. We notified around noon ) fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Although the restaurant was well attended, the tables were allocated in such a way that one felt undisturbed. Great!
The food was delicious and very well presented... a big praise to the star chef. Even the later taken in the bar area (in the very welcoming reception area) "slumber", we could enjoy in peace.
By the warm check in, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and escorted to the suite, where it was explained to us (all functions for room control and use of the spa facilities, can also be read again on the control tablets), one felt immediately welcome. The check out was also absolutely problem-free and courteous.
On Sunday we had no warm water in the morning. We let the reception know (short call via the control tablet) and within a short time the problem was fixed and apologized several times. Fantastic how quickly they responded.
We would like to have a small table at the whirlpool to put down the drinks. Unfortunately, we also did not find a broom/sweeper in the suite to remove the foliage at the hot tub. But that is "moaning at a high level" and not to be seen as criticism.
All in all, we had a great, very relaxing stay and thank everyone for this fantastic experience.

Holiday to feel good and enjoy
Arrive and feel good in every area of the hotel.
Even the reception is exceptional. No hassle, a sparkling wine on the beautiful terrace and a receptionist who still handles missing data on the terrace with us and then brings the room keys.
Friendly accommodating people in all areas from caretaker , cleaning to chef. Every guest gets the feeling that they are unique and the entire team is there just for them. Not intrusive, but highly professional. The hotel is thought through to the smallest detail. The interior design is to feel good. The whole team is uniquely good.
Restaurant Zwanzig offers fantastic cuisine. There's a treat for the palate.
Holidays at the highest level to feel good. Anytime again.

Fantastic Spa Room that leaves nothing to be desired
It's a top holiday resort, we will definitely come back.
What we didn't like is the choice of food in the restaurant. Breakfast, on the other hand, was sensational.
But it will not stop us from coming back, there is also a solution.

Top Quality
This Hotel was delightful and is a hidden Jem!
The hotel is completely new and is of the highest standard, I have ever stayed.
The quality of the Room and service was of a the highest standard and the food and Service was Michelin quality. Not being a German speaker did not matter as most of the staff could also speak fluent English.
