Known MO standard

If you book Motel One, you know exactly what to expect, including Motel One Bad Cannstatt:
It is a 20-minute walk to the stadium and Porsche Arena, the pedestrian zone of Bad Cannstatt is around the corner. Opposite is a rewe and an underground car park.
Room 322 was small, clean and quiet to the rear. As usual, the storage facilities are not available, but the window can be opened completely, there is an adjustable heating/air conditioning. The pressure of the showerhead was very poor.
In the evening, the bartenders had their hands full, the bar offers a diverse selection of drinks.
Breakfast is fine, however, the boiled egg was almost cold. From 9 am at the latest, there are not enough tables at breakfast when the hotel is fully occupied and the staff does not make sufficient efforts to clear the tables.
All in all fine - normal Motel One standard just now.

Chain hotel in a quiet location.

The rooms meet the expectations of Motel One. It was pleasantly quiet.
The long lines at check-in are a bit annoying, just like the crowded breakfast room in the morning. One actually feels sympathy for the consistently friendly staff.
Location is good and central.

Frühlingfest night

We stayed here so that we could attend the Frühlingfest, it was a Very Easy walk to the fest site! Parking is available under the hotel, with an additional public lot across the street. The corner room (#200) was great, a bit small, but perfect for 1 night. The shower pressure was a bit weak, and the water temperature fluctuated a bit. The one very annoying thing, was that the bathroom door would NOT remain open, it would automatically swing shut. We had to put something in front of it to keep it open. This was our first stay at a Motel One, and we will keep it as an option in the future. The breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced, so I would skip it.

Unfriendly, goodwill and customer orientation Misrepresentation

Dear Motel One Team, I would like to tell you about my last stay at your house, which unfortunately did not correspond to my previous positive experiences with the Motel One Group. I originally planned a late check-out as I am used to checking out at 1pm at many Motel Ones. On my arrival day I arrived at around 4pm and checked out at 1:30pm the following day. At first the housekeeping team was friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately the situation changed quickly. A team leader from Housekeeping, who was apparently frustrated and upset, approached me and unkindly pointed out the additional €10 per hour fees. I explained that I would clarify this with the reception. To my amazement, the same team leader stood at the reception and insisted that her colleagues charge me for the costs. After a brief conversation with the manager, who did not even feel it necessary to appear in person, there was no goodwill or customer-oriented accommodation. The team leader continued to stand next to colleague Mr Guido Trolio and monitored that the other costs were calculated. In my opinion, this behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and shows no customer orientation. It's a great pity that my last visit to your house was so negative. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate action to ensure better service in the future. Best regards, Rene Strackerjan
