Excellent

We stayed here for one night on the way further east and wish that we could have stayed longer.
The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the Thai evening meal was brilliant! Probably the best Thai food that we have ever had.
No problem parking, and Langscheid is a very peaceful and safe place in which to leave your car and go for a wander. The Sorpesee is lovely and there appears to be lots of walking in the area - which sadly we didn't have time to explore.
We would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are lovely and very welcoming.
Highly recommended as a very nice hotel in a lovely place.

Reasonably priced, clean and nice Hotel

We were looking for a no frills hotel in the area to stay over the weekend for a family event just as a place to sleep. We found it in this hotel which offerd a suit for just 68€ without breakfast which we didn't need anyway. The hotel itself is a mix of old and new which is quite charming. The suit rooms were perfectly clean and suitable for a longer stay. Even though it's directly under the roof with sloped sealing there is enough headroom for taller people. The bathroom is quite big but the decoration is...not my cup. The bed is a bit narrow for two but more comfortable than expected. The window shutter keep the room dark as long as you like for a good sleep if you are sensitive to daylight. A real plus for me. A big minus is that you have to climb steep steps to get to the room. Not suitable for handicapped people. I'm not sure if there are rooms on ground floor. For budget traveler rooms without bathroom are available. We may come back for the next event.

Excellent stay

We stayed on Monday 27 March for one night and had dinner and breakfast. The hotel is fantastic value. Lovely smart modern bedroom. Restaurant very nice. Food brilliant. We liked the staff who were extremely friendly. Thanks for lovely break!
