Excellent overnight stay, but did not meet expectations in terms of facilities.
One of the criteria was that there should be a charging facility for electric cars, which should be there according to Booking and Tripadvisor. When we inquired, we were referred to a charging station a few hundred meters down the street, which doesn't feel good with a car full of travel gear. I think it would be nice if the hotel adjusted this to better manage the expectations of electric drivers.
At a hotel in this price category (€ 175 p/n) it would be expected that there would be an opportunity to eat something and not be referred to the takeaway pizzeria around the corner or a restaurant a 5-10 minute drive away . It now felt more like a B&B than a hotel to us.
The room was perfect and nothing to complain about, as was the breakfast.

Very nice spotless hotel, pleasant staff, simple rooms
Everything is like new and very clean. Excellent breakfast (by German style, i.e. the only hot food is boiled egg), very tasty mueslis, beautifully displayed with flowers.

Simply amazing
We were given the two Superior Rooms in the "tower" which were simply amazing: modern design combined with tradition.
Great cleanliness everywhere and fabulous breakfast room, with a buffet offering big choice of high-quality local products.
On top of all, I personally believe that the main distinguish feature is given by the friendliness of the owner, a lady having always a welcoming smile. Our son was unfortunately sick when we arrived at the hotel and the owner was of great support providing us with some medicins. Thanks again for being so polite to us and for making us feel like at home!
This attitude towards the guests is the real "secret" of great places to stay in.
We look foward to staying again at Landhotel Adler in the near future, hopefully longer (and in good health ;)
