Waldseehotel Wirchensee – a real insider tip for nature lovers

We had a wonderful time out at Waldseehotel Wirchensse. The location is simply fantastic – directly on the lake, embedded in nature. Here you will find absolute peace and quiet. Hiking trails lead directly from the hotel, and the surrounding area is also well served by cyclists. During our stay there was even a large bicycle group that started their tours daily from here.
The hotel itself is very nice. Our room was large and clean, with a fantastic view directly to the lake. We had booked the arrangement "Little time out" and were more than satisfied. It was also very positive that we could travel with three people instead of two – the hotel was flexible and made everything possible without any problems. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and speaks both German and Polish – you will feel well looked after at all times.
A special highlight for us was the sauna on the lake. Through the panoramic windows you can look directly at the water, and if you like, you can dive right into the lake afterwards – a unique experience!
The hotel has also convinced culinary enthusiasts: The food on the terrace overlooking the lake was very tasty and the breakfast buffet very rich.
All in all we had very nice and relaxed days. For those who are looking for peace, nature and relaxation, the Waldseehotel Wirchensee is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

If you like nature, this is the place for you

The location of the hotel is fantastic, in the middle of nature by the lake. The breakfast is very good and varied, so there is something for every taste. However, the coffee machine is overwhelmed when the hotel is full. There were queues and the staff was busy with maintenance. The rooms are fine. A few hooks in the bathroom would be helpful. The food is very good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to requests.

wedding disco to the early hours

set in a very picturesque landscape on a nice lake, you would expect some level of tranquility. instead, very loud (and i mean very loud) music until well beyond 1am from the hotel bar - a call to reception promised a lower volume (we didn't notice any differnece) and the closing of doors which was undermined by guests constantly opening them.
at breakfast, we asked for a fresh cup and saucer on an empty table outside to which the waitress answered: 'can't you sit inside?'.
on check-out, the hotel tried to charge us for a random restaurant bill (we didn't go near the restaurant in our entire stay). very irritated, the reception lady then proceeded to serve another guest (who didn't cause problems) before returning to rectifying and adjusting our bill.
a real shame as the place has potential if only the staff would be willing, inclined or able to serve guests properly.

Hier kann man ein ruhigen Urlaub verbringen.

Ich und meine Schwester haben unseren 60 Geburtstag gefeiert.
Wollten eine ruhige Ort haben zum entspannen von der Großstadt.
Den kann man hier gut finden.
Bedienung sehr freundlich auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen.

gemischte gefühle

positiv: idyllische lage direkt am see-ideal für wandern/radfahren; frühstück: tolle auswahl, sehr gute qualität; candle light dinner:schmackhaft; anlage auf 1. blick gepflegt
negativ: personal spricht schlecht deutsch, mitunter sehr gestresst; zimmer und anlage ziemlich abgewirtschaftet; teilw. "müllig"; mobiliar in die jahre gekommen, mitunter lavede; sauna am see:keine leiter zum wasser, wird kaum warm
fazit: insgesamt zu teuer; es braucht liebevolle zuwendung für das gesamte objekt
