Very positive

It is a very nice hotel! The staff was very friendly, and one could feel comfortable there! Good cuisine at a reasonable price?
Breakfast was very good, and all of that at a great price! I would have given 5 stars immediately, but the beds were a drawback (it might have been due to our room!).
However, for those who want to get away for a few days and appreciate the proximity to Luxembourg, this is a great place to be!

Excellent

Very clean rooms, great location, at the foot of a mountain, paradisiac. Breakfast good size, friendly staff. Free parking with lots of places. Exterior area for a good Happy Hour, quiet and cozy place.

Choose something else

One of our two rooms was not cleaned after previous guests, we certainly got another room, with two mousetraps in it. Untidy with a scent of mold in the bathroom. Perfectly okay beds and breakfast but the overall impression is lowered by the disorder and the feeling of unfreshness persists.

Everything just like last time ‍♂️

So I tried again I booked by phone again, insisted on a comfort room, which was confirmed verbally. Then I got an email, but I silly me didn't check ‍↕️ it was of course the standard room again, like last time. But this time I didn't give in and actually, there is an intermediate level between standard and comfort better than a youth hostel but a long way from comfort. So I went in, it should be enough for two nights. The rest was unchanged from last time. The crowning glory in the restaurant is the pasta advertised on the menu there!!! With super fresh pesto made from basil and nuts etc. The price is also somehow affordable but then... ready-made pesto from a jar with warmed up pasta, garnished with coarsely grated cheese with a dry white wine, which was more of a semi-dry wine, but maybe my tongue couldn't keep up with the great pesto. The next evening, just to be on the safe side, Mel had the pasta Bolognese again ready-made with exactly the same pasta as the night before ‍♂️ we don't even want to talk about the wine. OK, a culinary disaster, but the hotel is becoming more and more of a transit hotel for customers from the North Sea countries who then stay for one night with motorbikes, bicycles, etc. Breakfast is OK, medium standard - nothing special. Task for the next tour: find a new hotel! Definitely not that anymore, sorry
