Beautiful family hotel with direct access to Lake Constance

Beautifully located on Lake Constance with direct access to the lake, invites you to swim.
The lake can also look at delicious food, all tables with lake view, partly under old trees, plane trees.
very good cuisine, especially the à la carte dishes convince (tripe Portuguese, spicy , sea bass, roast onion). The really knowledgeable sommelier recommends excellent wines, some regionally from Lake Constance. (vineyard erect!) , part international.
Friendly service. Nice room, with fantastic lake views from the balcony, on the 2nd floor. Stock. The rooms in the 1. Stock are cheaper but a bit small.
From nearby Meersburg. (Well-preserved medieval castle) can be crossed by ferry to Konstanz.

Not everyone wanted

We were cycling and wanted to eat in our clean cycling clothes. In the restaurant inside we asked for a place on the terrace. The waiter gave us a map, though, and told us to see if we could find anything first. In reality, he meant if we could afford to eat at all. Cheekiness! The food was very good, but they never see us there again!

Sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub

Wir haben einen traumhaften Kurzurlaub verbracht. Ein picobello sauberes Zimmer mit Ausblick über den See bis zu den Alpengipfeln. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service und ein super tolles Essen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Kurzurlaub

Ein paar Tage am Bodensee, einfach nur ein Traum zum ausspannen. Die Seehalde liegt optimal. Leider macht Corona das genießen etwas schwer. Das Frühstück musste man einen Tag vorher bestellen, Buffet mit Bedienung wäre viel besser, dann könnte man sich aussuchen auf was man Lust hat zum Frühstück. Die HP am Abend ist sehr gut, aber nur leider gibt es keine Auswahl nur 1x Fisch oder 1x Fleisch.
Trotz allem die Seehalde ist nur zu empfehlen.
Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

... ganz nah am See!

Ein schönes Hotel, ganz nah am See und trotz der Covid-19 Pandemie fühlten wir uns hier gut aufgehoben.
Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet und bequem, wenn auch nicht ganz dem anspruchsvollen Übernachtungspreis entsprechend. Das Restaurant ist auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen, eine rechtzeitige Tischreservierung ist zwingend erforderlich. Aufgrund der Pandemie gab es selbstverständlich kein Frühstücksbuffet, auf einer Karte sollte stattdessen angekreuzt werden, was man haben wollte. Vielleicht lag es daran, aber das am Tisch servierte Frühstück war eher etwas langweilig, wenn auch qualitativ in Ordnung. Die Mitarbeiter waren angemessen freundlich.
