Brilliant place to stay

Only stayed for what was 2 days of a planned 2 week trip due to work reasons. I travel a lot for work and in all my time I have never experienced how I was treated at this hotel, there is a married couple running the place and from the moment I arrived to when I left they couldn't do enough for me. So helpful and attentive. The hotel is spotless clean and a great location. If you are lucky enough to stay here I hope you get to experience the same warmth and friendliness that I experienced.

Top Stay

Another family run gem located out of the major cities and “ off the beaten track.” This little beauty is well worth a short diversion from the motorways. It is well maintained, clean and comfortable and the food is excellent, all without breaking the bank. But the best attribute of this place is the hosts, Robert and Heidi who are the friendliest, most welcoming and genuine people. Highly recommended!

A charming small hotel with a friendly, helpful atmosphere

This is a small (20 rooms) family-owned hotel that is absolutely charming. The owners and staff were ready to help in any way. One of owners who has very good English stopped by our table to chat numerous times. The owner even printed a document I needed and brought directly to my room. The breakfast was typical German-great, and the dining room was outstanding for a small hotel. We moved on to a different hotel as our trip progressed, but I wish now we had reserved a few more nights here before moving on to another region.

Very nice and friendly

I have stayed here a few times now and every time it is a pleasant experience. This hotel is family run and they are all very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and the food is awesome. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean, quiet, with updated bathrooms

We just spent a night at this hotel, and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel seems somewhat dated from the outside, and even walking in to check in. But our room was very spacious, the carpet not worn at all, and the bathroom had been completely redone. And it was clean! I mean really spotless! We typically travel with a big roll of Chlorox wipes, and are used to giving our hotel rooms a big cleaning before we settle in, but that was not necessary in this hotel.
The staff was friendly, the hotel quiet, wifi available and working well (you get a code for each device that you want to use), and though a little rustic decor-wise, the updated bathroom and spotlessly clean rooms shows pride of ownership of this mom-and-pop type hotel.
Would stay here again.
