Lovely stay and I hope to return in the future
My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. my only very minor observation is I believe the room would be a little small for two people but it was perfect for me as I was travelling alone.
Complementary bottled water was provided in the room and the private off road parking was very much appreciated.
The optional breakfast offered by the hotel is good and although the hotel does not operate a restaurant in the evening the location of the hotel is perfect for taking advantage of the numerous restaurants within easy walking distance in and around the local area of Suchteln (suburb of Viersen).
I am very happy to recommend this hotel and I very much hope to return in the future.

Overall grade satisfactory
The house is lovingly furnished and the "dining room" looked very inviting. Unfortunately, I didn't eat or have breakfast there.
What I didn't like was the room itself: located in the basement and, unlike most photos, not with hard flooring, but with carpet. There was no decent place to sit or work in the room. Instead of a desk, an antique chest adorned the room. Working on the laptop or reading something was therefore only possible lying on the bed. The bed itself was very good and large.
I was very disturbed by a strange, almost indescribable, sweet, musty smell that prevailed in the hallways and especially in the room. I couldn't determine the cause, but it wasn't pleasant.
The service was very friendly and professional.
