We were satisfied with the accommodation, there are small things that could be improved.

Pool, unfortunately not that clean; at the archway, materials and waste should be removed so that no one notices them. One could plant more flowers and shrubs on the terrace that bloom in the summer; otherwise, we were very satisfied with the accommodation.

A hotel under renovation

The accommodation itself was very nice but there was no Wifi in the part we stayed in. I mentioned this via Booking where I previously had contact with the accommodation but never received a response.
None of the staff spoke a word of English, there was no information in English but only in German.
Tried with Google translate but they chose not to understand.
The pressure in the shower was really bad so washing your hair was not to think about.
The kitchen was poorly equipped and no toaster was available! No minibar either!
The garden was very poorly maintained with tall grass and building materials everywhere!
The pool was so dirty that it could not be bathed in…

Anytime again!

As a group, we had a fantastic wine tasting at the beginning of May - with lots of information about the house and the exceptional wines! Charming, knowledgeable, and always addressing the group's questions, we had the pleasure of experiencing the hostess. We can only recommend Schloss Zingst, a great starting point for bike tours as well! Thank you very much for the wonderful hours!

Wonderful!

Unbelievable what the Kappis family has created in such a short time: Since the takeover in (if I remember correctly) 2024, much of the complex and the apartments have been wonderfully renovated!
I had -at a very reasonable price - a very large, nicely furnished apartment with kitchenette.
Also the restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Ask for the wine list: There you will find top crops of the Saale-Unstrut region - also at very affordable prices. The winegrowers rely on fungus-resistant grape varieties, so-called "PiWi's." And they are a treat!
Another little tip: Mr Kappis is not a Swabian, but a bather and is happy when he is addressed as such.

Wonderful stay

We had been looking for a hotel for one night because of a meeting with dog friends. Schloss Zingst offered this opportunity. To our surprise, the booked room was a perfectly equipped apartment with kitchenette, fireplace and other amenities: Modern meets old building fabric. Perfectly solved in our eyes. Plus a friendly Service, tasty food and nice atmosphere in the café and adjacent rooms. For a stay on the inviting terrace it was unfortunately too cold, but imaginably beautiful in summer. We will definitely book there again!!
