Excellent service

The staff here are very helpful and they dress in national costume, which shows how proud they are of their locality. Breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice. There was even prosecco served at breakfast. The food was very tasty. I was in a single room, which was minute. Although there was a fridge in the room - there was no water! Could not get on to hotel wi fi had to ask a waitress. There is a lift but no porter. There is a room where you can store luggage prior to departure. The hotel is opposite the railway station and there is an ATM there if needed.

Romantic Hotel in Central Location

We stayed here for the second time and again we were not disappointed. Friendly service, very good breakfast (inspite of Corona restrictions).
We enjoyed the collection of paintings and of course appreciated the free parking.
We will be back!

Very nice

Nice hotel in the cernter of Volkach. Clean and individual style rooms with modern appliances. GooD Wifi. Had dinner in the hotel which was also very tasty. Good selection of local wines. Friendly service.

Best service in Germany

Full disclosure, I've only seen a hotel room. It is all about the restaurant and outstanding food and service our party of six enjoyed. Germany has so much to offer, but prompt, friendly service in a restaurant stands out the rare times it is experienced. Fortunately, the food, wine and beer were equally good. Classic regional dishes.

Strange hotel room

Hotel itself is very nice, smiley staff, very good breakfast. We bought a suite which was the biggest mistake. Description extra large king size bed is not true, there are 2 separate matrasses put together with a whole in the middle. The living room was really very strange, there was a large leather bed and two armchairs and the entire room was very gloomy. We did not use it at all. Another point worth to mention is a window in a bathroom which had no blinds so we had to use pillow instead. If we return next time, we will choose definitely a standard room hopefully the description on booking.com is true and we get a real king size bed.
