Small, well furnished hotel

Small, nice hotel in the middle of the old town.
Large, functional rooms. Bed quality very good. Small disadvantage: No elevator, for elderly access 2nd floor a bit arduous. House bar well furnished. Value for money is okay.

Rarely have you slept so badly...

On arrival everything is closed and dark. There is only one piece of paper with a phone number on it. On the cell phone, I'm told a code for the rear entrance door, and then a locker pops open with room and front door keys in it. There's no one here in the house so close to Christmas. I have to go to 2. Stock. A room, about 3.5 x 3.5 m including bathroom, small window, air conditioning, heating turned down nice and wide, so you go into a 12 degree cold room and turn it up yourself. In the bathroom a shabby little window, it lacks a shelf like a table. The seals and a handle are missing in the shower and the doors are dingy and moldy. The box spring bed is completely without suspension, but with a 5 cm thick removable pad, so you sleep like on a sandbag. In the morning I had such back pain that I could barely walk. The room service in my presence before the 2. Night only the duvet refolded. Neither the dirt from my shoes in the entrance was removed, nor were there fresh towels. It is almost impossible to find a parking space. I am surprised that everyone writes so enthusiastically, I am often in the Rheingau in the hotel, but will not stay here again. Too expensive for lowest mediocrity.

Means in the old town

Small hotel, in the middle of the old town, quiet location, good design. We had a room in the attic. Everything was good! Everything was clean! Self-service wine fridge, breakfast on the ground floor in a beautiful, spacious room. Good overall booking process, right down to the key safe at check-in. We thought everything was good, we enjoyed our time, but something was missing to make it wonderful. It was the warmth and the attention to detail...

Just what we needed for one night.

Excellent stay! We stayed in the suite for 3 people. It was a huge room. Seemed newly renovated. Super cute and great bathroom. Yummy buffet breakfast- a bit pricey. We ate in the restaurant next door for dinner, which was typical German food, large portions.
My daughter said her pull out bed was hard though.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

Since we wanted to do the "Walk like a local" wine hike in Eltville, we were looking for accommodation for one night and luckily came across this beautiful hotel.
We stayed in the more than spacious and lovingly furnished suite and were completely satisfied. The materials used are very high quality and everything matches the colors beautifully. The bathroom has a very nice vanity and great retro tiles.
The bed is huge and there is even a balcony. In the suite you can't hear any noise from outside or from the other rooms. Heavenly peace!
The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Very tasty rolls and a great coffee machine. The lady responsible for check-in, breakfast and check-out is very nice and professional.
We'll be happy to come back!
