Amazing stay. Large room. Bed was a bit old, but OK. Indoow swimming, sauna and steamroom. Dinner available on request. Breakfast with all you’d want. I stayed for 3 nights and all for under €100 per night. I’m back in next week for another 4 nights and looking forward to it.

Quietly located in the beautiful Fichtel Mountains, this 70s country-style hotel offers
Spacious, well-kept rooms with everything. Ideal for visitors to the Bayreuth Festival who can prepare for the evening performance on the room balcony or in the wellness area.
Nice staff, rich breakfast table and unbeatable value for money. Here our new headquarters is now established!

Come here to remain focused on the Ring

At first I thought the remoteness of the hotel from the Bayreuth city center (about 20 minutes drive) would be a distraction during the Wagner Festival. It turned out to have the opposite effect: the scope and scale of the place and the lovely surroundings of the Fichtelgebirge allow one to find respite during the performances and enjoy rather than have the feeling of being rushed constantly. Excellent buffet breakfast.
