Relaxation at the castle.

Outside, it is 36°C, but in my (very clean and creatively decorated) room, it is pleasantly cool at 19°C.
The castle is located in a very beautiful park where one can comfortably sit under a tree. Or in the shade of the ruins.
I received a wonderful welcome from the 'boss' and feel very comfortable here.

Very nice people. Expedia needs to do more to make communication with the hosts easier. For both sides.

Small Pearl in Hertefeld

The small castle is a pearl....we felt very comfortable. It is a very personal, warm and friendly approach. The rooms/suites are individually decorated. Coffee, tea, a small fridge and water are provided in the rooms. We were staying at the "world beater." It was colonially furnished with a lot of travel literature. Breakfast is served in the accompanying small café.
We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

Beautiful!! Highly recommended - we will definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, so personal place! The entire area is fantastic and well maintained. From the first minute we felt welcome and in good hands!
We slept in the donkey room, which was waiting for us with a big donkey picture and a book box of books about donkeys for every taste. The beds were lovely and in the large bathroom we particularly liked the good shower. Waking up in the morning and hearing the different animal sounds through the open window was just magical - it's like immersing yourself in a special world and there was a sense of relaxation immediately from the moment of arrival. In the very chic Café Eselsohr we drank the best cappuccino for a long time for breakfast and enjoyed the lovingly prepared breakfast - the fruit bowl is highly recommended!!
After a walk through the zoo and the beautiful surroundings we were already looking forward to returning to the hotel. Seeing the illuminated castle tower at dusk, with the path lined with small lights, looked just like a fairytale...
We are already looking forward to our next stay and pure relaxation!

It is a place to go and to be. A very supportive and friendly team. I have been exchange with them to prepare the trip in advance. They were very helpful.
