Wunderbar

Small, family owned/operated, cosy hotel in a quiet village near Weimar. Superbly clean. Great atmosphere (stayed on 2 separate occasions). Excellent restaurant. Overall excellent value for money. Location: near A4 Autobahn, and yet distant enough to be peacefully quiet.

Fantastic welcome and food.

Checked into the hotel after having driven a long way and was greeted with the most helpful and accommodating hosts. Our room was so comfortable it has hard to tear ourselves downstairs for dinner but so glad we did. The food was delicious, plentiful and like the best home cooking. Would recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Germany.

Nice family hotel

When driving to Weimar we found a sign "Landhotel Possendorf" on the high-way and were following this eventhough we planned to stay directly in Weimar.
What a nice and cozy place, very friendly, open only after 4pm but free parking, some traditional nice and fresh food, home-made "Schnaps" and jam and everything you need for staying overnight. Shower, TV in the room, clean and tidy and very friendly personnel.
No high class service but friendly and with the heart at the right place!

Tolle Lage, schönes kleines Hotel

Tolle Lage 2 km von der Autobahn entfernt. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Die Zimmer sind renoviert und liebevoll und mit Fantasie ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist super, es blieb bei uns kein Wunsch offen.
Wei waren hier für eine Nacht auf der Fahrt an die Ostsee und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend ein Hotelzimmer brauchen.

Ottima scelta per tranquillità e location strategica per visitare la Turingia

Abbiamo fatto base per 3 giorni pieni in questo grazioso hotel alle porte di Weimar, per visitare laTuringia.
Ottima location in un piccolo villaggio tranquillissimo, dove passa la strada comunale e qualche pista ciclabile, immerso nella campagna, ma a un kilometro dall’accesso in autostrada n° 4 che attraversa in orizzontale la Germania e va da Francoforte a Dresda. Da qui si possono raggiungere in poco tempo le città e le attrazioni della Turingia. Ottima accoglienza da parte del gestore e disponibilità. Poiché restavamo 4 notti, avevamo scelto, per poca differenza di prezzo, una camera comoda, spaziosa, silenziosa e così è stato: una suite con salottino, tavolo con 4 sedie, 2 poltrone e un bel bagno fenestrato. Piano superiore e sottotetto abbastanza alto. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Certamente da consigliare.
La finestra della parte notte avrebbe bisogno di un oscurante. Sarebbe meglio un armadio per chi, come noi, può restare più di una notte, rispetto a un mobiletto a 4 ripiani e un attaccapanni a parete. La TV dispone di pochi canali in analogico. Materassi da rinnovare. Il ristorante non è operativo.
