Beautiful hotel in the best location

We were here for a short vacation with our dog. The room was beautiful and everything was very clean. The dog was allowed everywhere. There was a rich breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired. Even salmon and delicious croissants were available. Parking costs €5 per day, which is very affordable. Dinner was always very good, and the service was quick and attentive.
We cannot understand the negative reviews about the kitchen at all. No matter what we tried, everything was delicious.
In the morning, we took the Brockenbahn, which stops directly across the street, up to the Brocken and then hiked back down to the hotel. A wonderful excursion

Wrong information- not service at night

Booked hotel went there at night around 22:00-23:00. Hotel was closed while according to booking they had late check in possibility!! Manged to refund my money through booking but that night I had difficult time to find another hotel. Also not safe if all employee leave hotel close the door!!!

Expensive in price, made cheap.

The Harzer Wanderplatte is a bad joke. Two slices of toasted bread, two slices of dark grain bread and two slices of baguette bread each from the discount store. Sausage and cheese were cheap, but ok.

Not intoxicating

They were in the dining room for dinner today. The temperature here was very low. The food we had ordered was not particularly tasteful.
Another visit to the restaurant is out of the question for us.

We stayed for 3 nights. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Everything worked and the apartments are spacious and so cozy. Very baby friendly!
Although a bit of noise at night from other guests.
Overall great stay with a nice location.
