Simple hotel with nice glass house and very moderate beds.

110: spacious room above a terrace and you can hear that. Small shower, soft mattress with tactile springs, a nasty sweat mattress cover under the sheet and a worthless pillow that looks a lot shaken up but lying on it means nothing and old armchairs with grubby upholstery. The beds are 220 long but the sink hangs at "child height". Breakfast is extensive with old filter coffee. Bicycle parking is possible in a garage 100m away with a worn, dented and dirty wire door. Friendly service makes up for a lot.

Overnight stay on business

Business meeting in Wettringen required an overnight stay - recommendation from the company I was visiting was the Hotel zur Post. We were made very welcome and the rooms were nicely equipped. Good bar/restaurant and the hospitality was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Nice buffet breakfast to start your day - staff spoke good English. Limited parking but we found a space on the road side close to the hotel.
