Best food in the best location

Very nice restaurant in a great location in the middle of Wismar. Very good service and very delicious food at normal prices. Here it is fun to spend your lunch break or 'travel break!

A perfectly ok Restaurant

Very good Beer food was quite ok burgers were great.

I was there just for one night. It‘s a nice but old fashioned hotel. The rooms were clean, but in a stormy night it wasn’t quite easy to sleep as the room was noisy, probably due to the building itself.
Calling prior to the trip the reception to evaluate where I could park, they were quite difficult to understand (no native German). Even a written request wasn’t answered. I only had luck to find a public parking place right in front of the hotel, within the free parking times.

Not recommended

I had a single room. The furnishings and mattress were very old, the room was musty, the carpet was dirty and the price was very inflated.
The room also faced the street and the garbage collectors were already working at 6:00 a.m.

Great traditional German Dishes

If you fancy something traditionally German, here's a place for you. We had Geschmorte Haxe (roast knuckle of pork) with sauerkraut and a German version of mushy peas. My wife tried a half roast duck with red cabbage and apple. We washed it down with a good local beer. Needless to say we didn't need any pudding!
