Extremely disappointed
We had rented, via booking, a 70 m2 apartment, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. for 3 nights. On arrival, we were not expected. The owner, grandmother, baby in arms, accompanied us to the building next door. And wanted to put us in a small room with a bathroom. Of course, with our weak notions, we made him understand that this was not what we had ordered. She made us wait in a room in the building. After a while, she showed us a piece of apartment, a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom, filled with an unimaginable amount of towels and sheets, which she took away because we told her request. We insisted that she open the second bathroom for us. When I told her that we should have 2 rooms for 70 m2, she gave us a whole spiel in German and we gave up. In addition, the rental amount had to be collected before our stay, she asked us to pay the entire amount on site in cash. We didn't plan, we had to chase after a distributor. The accommodation was spacious, clean, decorated with great taste and above all at the front, there was a large shared terrace which we were lucky enough to have almost to ourselves. It has a nice swimming pool. There are not many walks, the road is dangerous and it is extremely noisy (works and developments). The nearest town Volfach is not pleasant, impossible to park, even in the parking lot of the Netto super market, which is limited in time. The most annoying thing was the feeling of being constantly watched and spied on. We couldn't leave our accommodation without part of the family arriving nearby. Among other things, at the time of departure, before even leaving the accommodation, we saw the owner arrive (probably to check if we had not stolen or damaged anything). We do not recommend it at all.
