Cosy country inn with delicious food and cosy rooms

Beautiful country inn where you can feel comfortable. The rooms in the main house are newly renovated and were very cozy. At breakfast there was everything you need. We also ate in the evening in the beer garden very delicious and at a very good price-performance ratio. We especially liked the hospitality and warmth of the staff.
We always like to come back!

Nice hotel and restaurant

Had a nice stay at the gasthof and enjoyed the evening entertainment (music in the garden) that accompanied our dinner. Delicious spätzle! Busy service due to the entertainment but still friendly. Okay breakfast.

Good standard, no surprices eather way

Very good location a few km from the motorway. Nearby an interesting
historical castle with a beatiful church, all privately owned by the same family since ages.
Hotel with a good german standard.
Restaurant with a good food, nothing special. Service mediocre.

It's great. Gladly again

On short notice looking for accommodation from Saturday to Sunday for two with dog, we came across the Gasthof zur Post in Wolfegg by chance. The first telephone contact was super friendly before. On the spot we were not disappointed. Nice reception, great room that was top clean and a very good dinner with great beer garden visit before, left nothing to be desired. A quiet night and a top breakfast completed the stay in Wolfegg. We certainly haven't been here the last time. Thanks again to the great team :-)

Lunch in Wolfegg

After picking up my classic car from Becker Studios in Ravensburg Schlier, we wanted to visit the car museum in Wolfegg, so we decided to have lunch at the Gasthof Post. A very large 80s-style inn that seems to be well attended. We were immediately offered a seat. The menu included a delicious Swabian speciality for me: pork neck with fried onions and fried potatoes and a mixed salad. My partner opted for Wiener schnitzel with chips and salad. Everything tasted delicious and there was plenty of it. Thank you, we'll be back!
