Our hotel is situated in the middle of the healthy climate spa resort of Alttann, in the heart of the Wüttemberg Allgäu region.

We would love to come back
A slightly older but completely in shape hotel. If you're a snobber or a epeteteer, you're not in the right place. For everyone else: is a recommended place, It is very clean everywhere, has very large rooms with balcony.
There is something for everyone at breakfast. The food á la carte is very good.
On public holidays, the lunch buffet and the dinner buffet are also highly recommended.
The friendliness and service standards of the staff towards guests on a scale of 1 to 10, I rate loosely with 12, and throughout. The whole staff is invariably friendly, nice and very accommodating. Parking spaces are ample. Distance 2-3 minutes to the hotel; who likes it closer to bookable underground parking.
Sauna from 16h daily usable, pool all day.

Not again
Friendly welcome, but that's about it.
Room on the 2nd floor facing the street.
No air conditioning, no minibar, carpeted floor. Unbearable truck noise starting at 4:30 a.m. Dinner 2 courses €29, lower canteen quality. Even though 2 days were reserved and paid for, we left after one night! There was no question at the reception as to why!!

Cozy but lacking finishing touches
We were at the Allgäuer Landhotel for a car meet and enjoyed our stay overall very much.
The location is ideal; many sights are quickly accessible. We found the spacious parking garage, where even larger vehicles can easily fit, to be particularly positive. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, warm, and always eager to provide guests with a pleasant stay.
The spa area with swimming pool and sauna is very nice and invites you to relax. The restaurant also impressed us: The food is varied and delicious; the beer garden and the terrace are beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever been able to enjoy at a hotel – not huge, but with everything the heart desires and of excellent quality.
Why “only” 4 stars? Although the rooms are very spacious, they seem a bit cold due to the furnishings and especially the sanitary area, and are more reminiscent of a hospital than a cozy hotel room. The hotel's decor could also be significantly improved with friendlier pictures and more atmosphere.
We also had a room on the sunny side. Since there is no air conditioning, it became very warm despite airing it out, making restful sleep difficult. The mattresses already seemed a bit worn out, and for a superior room, we would have also expected a minibar.
Overall, we still had a very nice stay and would come back. With a modernization of the rooms and air conditioning, the hotel would be a real 5-star experience for us.

Breakfast with voucher book not with hotel guests
Price / performance I would say very good.
But we were not allowed to redeem the voucher book for breakfast, which surprised us totally. Only day guests are allowed to redeem this voucher. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Outside hui, inside hui
2 positive things: the beds are very comfortable, the rooms (at least mine, it was obviously a disabled room) very large.
Unfortunately, much more negative: The Internet didn't work in my room, just in the lobby. Parking was only possible either extremely far away or in the very expensive underground car park. Breakfast on Sunday was almost impossible, all the tables were pre-booked, the waiters left me standing for more than 10 minutes and ignored my questions for a table.
There was only ONE, very slow coffee machine at breakfast (except on Sunday), so there was always a long line. Supposedly, the 2. Coffee machine only installed from 60 guests (!!!!), otherwise it is only there for the employees (???)
I had asked especially for a quiet room, I got one directly at the train, which passed felt every 10 min. with a lot of noise.
The poo-brown toilet paper was quite uncomfortable to use - if it is to be recycled, there is also white or almost white.
