incompetent management

After being satisfied guests of the Bellevue Hotel for more than 15 years, we will not return after the experiences of our last stay. We had booked for 3 nights. On the 2nd. On the second evening, our key card did not work; we could not enter the building or our room. The reception was not reachable by phone. My husband then went to the reception located in the main building to resolve the issue. The friendly young lady found out that it was a mistake by a colleague who had already checked us out after one night. Once the problem was resolved, the manager suddenly came over and scolded my husband, saying that he should not treat his employees that way, that my husband was rude, and that he had not even greeted anyone, which was unacceptable. Furthermore, he stated that he was not dependent on guests who do not greet. It was not about the complaint itself, but only about my husband's alleged behavior. In response to my husband's statement that we would book another hotel during our next stay in Marburg, he said that was perfectly fine with him.
On the day of departure, the young receptionist apologized for his boss's behavior and mentioned that other staff members had also noticed that we had not dined in the restaurant in the evening.
Only when the management changes will we gladly book at the Bellevue again.

At Relax & Dine, there is still room for improvement.

We spent the long weekend in May at this beautiful hotel with the Relax & Dine package. Since the hotel was otherwise quite fully booked, we received a complimentary upgrade to the junior suite.
We were received very warmly and even accompanied to our room. The rooms and the entire hotel were very clean, and the room was decorated with many loving details. On the terrace, there were many fresh flowers, and the garden is also very beautifully landscaped. The breakfast was plentiful and very good.
The only weak point was the booked "enjoyable three-course menu" for dinner, or more specifically, the main course. While the greeting from the kitchen was very original and the appetizer "Hessian Vitello" (veal with green sauce, baked egg yolk, and arugula) was simply great, we had the choice between fried fish and schnitzel, each served with potato salad for the main course. Fried fish and schnitzel were solid, but unlike the appetizer and dessert, these dishes were not listed on the menu, and they were also not what one would expect from a delightful dinner in a restaurant of this caliber. The dessert (choice from the menu) was, on the other hand, perfect again. Both the crème brûlée (I have never eaten a better one) and the tarte tatin left no wishes unfulfilled. Without this "slip-up," we would certainly have given 5 out of 5 points.

Very pleasant place to spend a night or two in Wolfshausen

Very nice location but when on a bike and on-site restaurant is closed on Monday - nothing is close . However , markets were open and we had already stocked up .
Great and very friendly reception gentleman made checkin very pleasant and simple .
Excellent inside bicycle storage . Room #242 was really nice - spacious , very clean and with great large windows overlooking nature and gardens . Very clean bathroom with good shower plus comfortable bed . Fan in room if needed . Refrigerator in room .plus vending machine in hall for snacks and drinks
Breakfast was very good with multiple hot and cold options . Would definitely stay here again.

Very good location
