idyllic quiet hotel with restaurant directly on the lake
My husband and I celebrated our 70th here. Birthday with friends and family and were very taken with the hotel and especially the service. Coffee buffet (coffee individually from the machine) and dinner á la carte were very good. Everyone got their dinner served quickly. We had the conservatory - lovingly decorated with early blossoms - as well as the tables directly on the lake at our disposal. The unobtrusive all-round supply ensured best satisfaction. The desire for a projector for the demonstration of pictures was also no problem. We spent a really wonderful birthday with our 22 guests. Thank you, dear team.

Quiet hotel by the lake
Very small hotel with a certain charm. Due to the construction, our room was accessible via an outside staircase. The room itself was fine, with a view of the lake. However, a gray-blue thick carpet was terrible. There is a jetty to the lake, but no sunbathing area; the property is much too small for that. The dinner was tasty and relatively expensive.
The breakfast is interestingly designed with many little treats. Coffee is available from a pump thermos or cappuccino for an extra charge.
Because of a simultaneous event or celebration at breakfast time, the room was totally overcrowded. Otherwise, it is quiet and dignified there.
I would recommend the hotel for a short vacation.

Gladly again
This beautiful small hotel (with a total of 17 rooms) – located directly on the Kalksee – with its own lake access requires the direct visit of a guest. Not so pretty (as far as the view) are the neighboring lots that look a tiny bit trashed. This is due, among other things, to the myriad of boats, some of which are lying there on dump, but are also being converted.
Since our rooms were on the top floor, we had a beautiful view of the lake despite all this. Rooms nine and ten belong to one category of the apartment, which certainly cannot be solved by the layout of the room.
The rooms themselves appear clean and functional at first glance. At second glance, however, you will discover minor defects that certainly cannot be remedied as quickly. In room 10 z. Ex. Is it not possible to set the thermostat controller to 3 (or higher), otherwise it will abut the rigips fairing and will not need to be turned on further. This means that this room cannot be controlled directly with the heating (in winter or at colder temperatures).
The bathroom which must be used by both rooms was clean and (relatively) modern. Unfortunately, under the sink there was an inspection flap (with tiles) left out, which can be solved differently in this day and age. Right behind the door, unfortunately, three tiles already came loose, which you could also reattach with a few simple steps. But that’s a high-level whining – especially if you’re a craftsman.
We were there with two small dogs. And you could tell immediately – when you entered – that the parquet (laminate) was heavily scratched. But that should not disturb any further (as a dog owner).
The outdoor area – so close to the lake – invites you to chill out, which in winter allows only a foreshadowed and a desired mind game.
The breakfast buffet was adequate and fulfilling. The only drawback was the lack of scrambled eggs. Certainly this could have been ordered, but you don't want to use the individual specialist unnecessarily.
As a summary: Thank you again. The staff was very friendly and approachable at all times.

A very nice place
We attended a wedding nearby and only needed a bed for the night but when we arrived we were instantly charmed by the place. The lady at reception gave us a warm welcome and showed us to a very nice room with lake view. Both room and bathroom were perfectly equipped - nothing fancy, but very good quality. We had a very good night's sleep! Downstairs, buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant opening out into a beautiful winter garden. A very good choice of teas made me happy - as also did the egg boiled to the point. They advertise the hotel as ideal for conferences - I cannot judge how that would affect the individual traveller.
