The breakfast was delicious. The views are great. The room is right by the water so you can really sleep to the beautiful sound of the river. Many swans in the river. Only 20 minutes to the major vineyards. It was awesome. We loved going there. I only have one suggestion, I wish there was some sort of ban on smoking or a designated smoking zone. People were smoking in the balcony making it impossible to keep the windows open through the night since the smoke collects into the room. Apart from that the place is completely worth the money!!!

Quaint and lovely!

This is such a stellar place to stay. It is a quiet hotel not far from the town of Zell and sits on the Moselle. Each room has a balcony and are very nice. The renovations they did are within 10 years I believe and they did a very nice job of renovating.
We stayed in the suite and it was a large one bedroom with a full and a half bath. We had a lovely large terrace on the top floor that overlooked the river with a table and four chairs with cushions. Breakfast each morning is served down in the café and it really is very European setting. They have outdoor tables as well. Breakfast was ample with a variety of choices and I loved how they gave you your own carafe of coffee if you wanted it!
It would’ve been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, but that is not very common in Europe to have with a hotel room like it is in the states. They have a selection of beer and wines for you to choose from if you’d like to purchase for your room.
If we return to Zelle, we will definitely stay there again. The owners are hands-on and friendly. Their son, who also work there, was very nice… He helped us out with our BMW’s GPS language settings. It was also good to see that many Germans were staying there and seemed to be returning guests, which says a lot. Also, they have ample electric outlets, and the bathroom was large with a toilet and a bidet. It was very clean and comfortable. I thought their pricing was a great deal for the suite and the quality of accommodation.

A highly recommended hotel just a short distance from the center.

We were spontaneously stopped and inquired about a room.
Very friendly staff. Spontaneously, we were shown several options to choose from.
We decided on one of the options and checked in.
Great newly renovated room with a view of the Moselle. And a small balcony.
There is a refrigerator in the hallway with a selection of different drinks. Including, of course, delicious wines. Everything is based on trust.
A garage to securely store the bicycles we brought is also available.
We were extremely satisfied with the hotel. And can recommend it without reservation.

Everything was excellent.
For us personally would have been nice to have a fridge and coffee machine in the room. Besides that everything was perfect

Super recommended hotel in Zell an der Mosel

We had booked a short week in this hotel.We expected a very great hotel with a very family welcome.We felt right at home.All questions from us were answered immediately,service retrospectively 1a.Our double room more than exceeded our expectations!The room was huge and super clean and well maintained!We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to go to the Moselle!Here you feel comfortable.Will gladly award the highest score.Come back,the next booking is in the works!
