Great couples getaway
Very nice out of the way resort. The track from the main road only adds to the sense of getting away from it all.
The place may need a bit of touching up in some places, but overall its a great place to be. Nice pool to swin in or relax by.The beach chalets are great, right on the beach in the palm trees, they were clean and comfortable.
The private beach is great, clean and lovely soft sand, lots of tables ,chairs hammocks and swings., walk along the stunning beach towards the fishing village, the public beach does suffer from plastic waste issues, but it's not enough to spoil the walk and to watch the fishing boats coming in as the sun goes down.
The food was good, the staff very welcoming and helpful. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, I highly recommend this resort.

Exceeded expectations
I fell in love with this adorable resort online. It sounded like a quiet and peaceful place, and there was the sea, just what I needed after all the hard work and stress of the Covid19 pandemic. My husband and I, along with one teenager, were not disappointed. Really, we cannot fault this beautiful place, about 2hours away from Accra Airport by car.
The calm sea view was amazing, the breeze was soothing and the beach is great for walks. The chalet was clean and we slept well. Service was excellent and all the young men helping us were polite. The idea of using whatsapp to contact the managers is ingenious. There are swings and hammocks on the beach for family fun. We were served the best fresh coconuts I’d ever had. That was my best bit. As much as I’d like to keep this lovely place a secret from everyone, I cannot help but recommend it. It totally exceeded our expectations. Our only regret was staying for just one night.

Scenic environment with below average service and food
We went to Blue Diamond for the weekend to meet some friends who were lodging there. The beach is scenic and clean and the surrounding environment is well maintained, with hammocks and comfortable seating areas.
However, the food, even the most basic, like chicken and rice were well below average and a huge disappointment, especially after waiting for more than 2 hours for it to arrive a few plates at a atime. The Tilapia we had for lunch was not fresh at all, the jollof was heated-up, overcooked and tasteless, the calamari and chicken kebabs were tiny and super dry (I would not have served them to customers if I had a restaurant) and the chicken wrap (the only thing that was "tasty and edible") was too small.
The environment is nice overall; however, for the prices they charge, more attention should be given to quality of the food and service. We had a far more pleasant experience at the more simple and unpretentious Kekes Beach Resort close-by.

A relaxing weekend with family and beach fun.
We spent a weekend frolicking in the clean beach. They lit a beautiful bonfire and served us in a timely manner with great food. The portions are a little smaller than I expected but the price was very reasonable. The rooms were very clean and the water pressure was welcome. The AC worked perfectly. It’s the little things. The suite with view of the ocean had a perfect view of the ocean. We took walks on the sandy beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. If you’re up for it, the sunrise is mesmerising. Our son who is 3 had the beat time.

Blue diamond weekend stay
Using the blue diamond whatsapp service makes things so easy. It's accurate, smooth and flexible. It's a great way to keep track of what you ordered, sort out bills and make bookings. It's an improvement from their previous service (I've been a happy customer from day 1).
