Wonderful apartments and super friendly staff
Always plenty of beds available around the lovely pool. The food is tasty and well priced and they have a great selection of drinks too. We were in room 128 this time which is up the spiral staircase on the top floor with beautiful views of the mountains and the 2 lovely cows grazing in the field. All the guests were really respectful of each other, no one plays loud music in their rooms, just really lovely, friendly conversations. Approximately 10 minute walk to the beach. No name beach bar offers 2 beds and an umbrella for 20 euros per day when you purchase food and drink from their restaurant (really friendly couple of lovely food). Pedalo hire was 20 euros for an hour. The water is lovely and clear. Apollo restaurant is well worth a visit too, it does the best beef stifado that I've ever tasted. A shout out to 'The Aly Katz' for the work they do feeding and neutering stray cats in Alykes and Alykanas.

Panos - Alykes
Panos is a real gem in Alykes. Great for couples, families and solo travellers.
The people are brilliant and really enhance the experience.
Dimitri is good fun and very personable whilst Tasia always greets you with a smile. All of the staff make Panos feel like a second home.
You will not be disappointed if you enjoy a quieter resort full of great places to eat and drink. The walk into town is 15-20 minutes and is relatively flat and easy.
Alykes and Alykanas beaches are also great and have beautiful shallow clear water.
A small car can be hired for €25 per day and a medium sized for €50 per day. It’s worth it as there are some great beaches and places to explore on the island.

Panos Studios Alykes Zante
The apartment we had was on the top floor corner so two balconies, view of the mountains from one and the sea from the other. The room was cleaned daily, fresh towels beds made, quiet, no pounding music in the bar and pool area, self catering, the food from the bar was delicious and reasonably priced and big portions, staff were friendly, pool was chilly but this was early may so to be expected, we took everything we thought we wood need like toilet roll, soap and bin liners but we needn't have bothered because that was supplied. you could take a slow walk into Alykes and the beach in ten minutes. We hired a car and went around the island and had a thoroughly good holiday.
