Perfect location right on a beautiful sandy beach and just minutes from the port. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food at the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again if we return to Amorgos.

Great hotel & island.

What can you say about Lakki Village Family Beach Hotel & the island of a Amorgos ?
They are both great. We stayed at the Lakki Village for 8 days and could not find any thing negative. The room, the pool, the garden, breakfast & the restaurant were first class. All the staff were friendly, helpful & efficient, especially Janis & his team at the pool bar.Plus the sandy beach is 5 steps from the hotels terrace.
Amorgos is a medium size island in the cyclades, just over 1 hour by ferry from Naxos. It had just about everything Naxos offers but smaller.Excellent walking, sandy beaches, pretty mountain villages, excellent greek tavernas, bars & cafes.Plus Lakki Village Family Beach Hotel.

Nice hotel on the beach

Pleasant stay in Lakki village. The staff was friendly and smiling. A small regret about the room and the bathroom, which had aging comfort, although cleanliness was acceptable. And on the first night, we had left the windows open. We then went on a hunt for about fifteen mosquitoes... On the following evenings, we were more careful.
There is a superb brand new seawater pool with a hot tub.
The breakfast buffet is varied.
Since there were few guests, the restaurant offered a small selection but good dishes made with local products. All of this with a direct view of the beach...
The private parking is more like a small vacant lot with a stock of old tires occupying a good part of it. It was almost full even though there were very few guests. It must be complicated in the peak season. But a large lot seems to be available 50 meters further away.

Very disappointing experience

Hotel well located at the beach , with magnificent sea views for breakfast and a nice nice swimming pool with comfortable deckchairs on the other hand the deckchairs at the beach are all broken. Welcoming very very very average , not to say unpleasant, especially if you point out that the room received does not correspond at all to the premium room booked directly on their website , months in advance , even after visiting 3 different ones. The second-hand furniture furnishing these rooms has nothing the photos of the site , I still wonder why I paid this room more ... question cleanliness, very average , even if daily cleaning done, a water cleaning would certainly be more effective on the other hand our bathroom was cleaned every day because flooded after each shower , the cleaning team did not have too much choice .let’s go to breakfast , the bread “home made” certainly had to be baked at least the day before to be systematically so dry , the coffee so warmed, maybe the day before, when it was not cold , was undrinkable , forcing us to buy a coffee at the bar to have something good . No butter but a tasteless margarine, fortunately, jams were good , cakes too. Namely tea was always lukewarm so not really a solution to coffee.

Cute with some flaws

I agree in part with what others have written.
From the photos online you can see only the newest rooms or those recently renovated, we instead happened to a slightly dated room with very little space to put our things, if not a measly wooden bench.
Ditto the bathroom... no shelves and shower yet with the plastic curtain. Kitchen completely unused since we have always eaten out. When we asked if it was possible to have a larger room we were told they would check but then.... no answer. We ended up staying there all week.
The outdoor area is beautiful, with lots of greenery, but should definitely be tidied up and cared for better because it is too confusing. Even the sunbeds on the beach should be changed because they were almost all broken or broken... unfortunately we were unlucky too, because of the strong wind, the sea was almost always rough but the last two days was calm and clear.
Surely its strong point is the restaurant area right on the sea, we had half board and we enjoyed it very well, excellent and varied cuisine.
Convenient location compared to Aegiali and some of the most beautiful beaches or the monastery, a little less if you want to go to Chora or Katapola ... the luck is that the road is never busy so no distances weigh.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our beachfront restaurant, excellent cuisine, and beautiful outdoor areas.
We respectfully wish to clarify that we offer a mix of rooms, including newly renovated and traditional units, and we always do our best to accommodate requests for larger or upgraded rooms whenever possible. Our team is available on-site to assist guests with any concerns during their stay.
We regularly maintain our gardens and sunbeds, and we take weather conditions, like strong winds, into account, which can occasionally affect sea conditions.
We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve all aspects of our property while maintaining the charm and comfort that our guests value.
Sincerely,
Lakki Village Management
