Wonderful little place

Oh my goodness, what a perfect little place! , managed by 2 of the nicest, most helpful, hard working and friendliest couple, Pedros and Lina that we have ever came across on our travels.
Just off the main street with all the little shops and restaurants and the beach.
The studio we were in, room 2 was perfect for us. Really comfortable beds, fresh crisp linen and great pillows. The towels were big and fluffy and of obvious good quality. The room was tastefully decorated with everything you could need, including fridge, kettle and kitchenware. There was also a little terraced balcony with a table and chairs which was lovely to sit out at night with a glass of wine.
We slept very well as it was quiet and peaceful
The shower was strong and the air con very good which was a blessing as were there in the heatwave of June.
We booked directly with Lina as opposed to an agent and got a very good deal.
Very happy to have chanced on Morpheus Rooms and would return in a heartbeat.

Quiet and beautiful Studios near Kini Beach

Very tastefully decorated Studios each opening to a rromantic balcony/shared terrace to enjoy your breakfast. Close to the beach and a fantastic bakery and good restaurants. The owners Lina and Petro are extremely welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to come back !

Nice hotel with a good location

We stayed at Morfheus for 4 nights. From the first contact by email, it was a very positive experience. The host Petros was quick to communicate, offered suggestions on how to get from the ferry (in the main town) to Kini and from there find the hotel. Nice room, big, clean, neat and daily cleaning/change of towels etc. If there is kitchenware that is not there, you can borrow it from Petros. The hotel is located in a quiet street with approx. 5 minutes to the beach. Absolutely no noise in the evening. The only downside is that you share a balcony with the apartment next door, but there is enough space. There is no doubt that if we come to Kini again, we will choose Morpheus Rooms for our stay.

Tucked Away Morpheus is a hidden gem

Quite simply this is one of the best places to stay in Kini. The réception was warm and welcoming; I was greeted by one of the owners with fresh watermelon and peaches and a carafe of fresh cold water. The accommodations are perfect whether you're a young family, solo traveler or two-person party. There is an outdoor deck area to sit and check email or just relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds Kini on the western side of Syros. If you turn up around the apperitivo hour the owner will bring you a glass of wine and fresh fruit. The owners are kind and well-known in this delightfully intimate community. Located down a well-lit, clean whitewashed alley as you make your way to the "far end of Kini" Morpheus Rooms is an perfectly-priced place with several options. I loved having a mini private terrace with my room. It is clear that the owners care about each guest and proof of this is that I met guests who have been coming regularly each summer to Kini and Morpheus Rooms for years! Highly recommend this hidden gem for an authentic, 2-minute walk to beach, quiet and restful getaway. Aptly named for Morpheus, a deity of sleep and dreams, you will doubtlessly find a great night's sleep here! I will definitely return to this lovely accommodation!

Great little hotel in Kini

I stayed in room 6 which is the single room. It has a day bed bigger than what, in the US we call a single bed but smaller than a full size.
This place is located down a side street from the beach and has a good little kitchenette and good a/c The wifi is "okay" too, the hotel is basic but charming and the bed is on the firm side.
I really enjoyed my time there, the owner brought me treats several times during my stay which was very thoughtful.
