The hill was the killer for us oldies
The hotel was clean and tidy rooms more than adequate pool area was when we were there good no problem with sun beds or areas ,breakfast generaly the same every day but again adequate,bar was a bit expensive and lack of finesse but ok ,the hotel is at the bottom of a hill and to younger guests may not be a problem we were 30 years past that I’m 74 , the hotel has golf style buggies which could be used to transport us old folk up the hill which would have been good for us ,other than that I couldn’t fault the hotel ,safe,fridge and air con had to be paid for but that seems the norm .
The restaurants are up the the hill and are generally good didn’t find a really excellent one ,all the menus were about the same some better served than others but nevertheless ok .
The hills which seem to have the hotels at the bottom kind of puts me off going back we need somthing a little flatter the people we met were very nice and helpful lovely place didn’t get much farther out of Lassi I personally would not put anyone off going as long as the hills don’t bother you other than that we loved it

A lovely quiet hotel.
This is a lovely small, family run business with fabulous views. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable and the food is delicious. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay with them.

Location, atmosthere and rooms are all at high class. The breakfast is reach with all kind of fruits and fresh food. The staff are very kind, ready to help you. I have made the check in with 2 hours earlier and the check out , with 3 hours later. No extra-payment for late check

Perfect experience
An impeccably clean hotel, situated perfectly for nearby Argostoli. Modern rooms, comfy beds and a nice pool area. Our room (ground floor) had self catering facilities too but we didn’t make use of them
If you’re looking for peaceful, reasonably priced, quality accommodation located perfectly for exploring the beautiful island I would recommend wholeheartedly

Terrible experience: Crazy prices, terrible service, and unacceptable smells.
We moved to the Lassi Hotel for our second week in Kefalonia, paying double compared to the previous property (€250 per night) Angeliki studio, where we had a great experience in every respect, because they were full. The experience was a failure from the very first moment.
Upon our arrival, at 11:00 in the morning, we simply asked to be able to leave our luggage and were met with unheard-of aggression and rudeness. The situation worsened once we entered the room: from the start, there was a strange smell that, during the night, turned into an unbearable stench of sewage.
The following morning we reported the problem to the reception. We had been assured that they would call a plumber and that they would change our room. However, upon our return in the evening, the response was that "there was no problem" and that we had to keep the room. The only "intervention" carried out was pouring an enormous amount of chemical disinfectant into the toilet to cover the fumes, making the air saturated and unbreathable. They then showed us a room on the floor above where they had applied exactly the same "treatment".
Having this type of problem at €250 per night is completely unacceptable. I have worked in the international tourism and hotel industry for years and I know the quality standards for hospitality and hygiene well: this hotel does not even meet the minimum requirements.
Beyond the property, the entire experience on the island was disappointing. Unlike many other Greek islands, rudeness seems to be the norm here. Even beaches touted as Fteri are unmanaged and in a state of decay. I strongly advise against both this hotel. Cyclades or Peloponnese, all the way!

When we arrived at 11:00 AM asking only to store our luggage, we were greeted with extreme rudeness and hostile behavior. Things got worse when we checked into the room: there was a strange smell right away, which turned into an unbearable sewage stench overnight.
The next morning, we reported the issue to the reception. They assured us they would call a plumber and move us to a different room. However, when we returned in the evening, we were told there was "no issue at all" and that we had to keep the room. Their idea of fixing a plumbing problem was pouring a massive amount of harsh chemical cleaner down the toilet to mask the smell, making the air unbreathable. They even showed us an upstairs room where they had applied the exact same "treatment."
Paying €250 a night for these conditions is completely unacceptable. Having worked for years in the international travel industry, I am fully aware of hotel standards worldwide, and this place falls far below basic hygiene and hospitality requirements.
