The hotel staff was extremely helpful and they made sure that I felt comfortable and relaxed. Rooms were also clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served with love. The stores in the area were clean and well presented and found everything I needed

Horrible! Bed bugs all over the place. Don't waste your time and money there

Don't go there. There are bed bugs!
This place should be closed for sanitary reasons.
Wrote twice to their management... with no answer whatsoever.
A total shame.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Horrible was the time we spent in that hotel; the service was terrible, they looked at us badly, the rooms were dirty with broken chairs, broken walls, scratched doors, dirty sheets, and overall poor cleanliness. The meals, dinners, and breakfasts were always the same; very, very, very little variety for a '4-star hotel with a buffet'; we always ate the same: pasta, chicken, and potatoes. Not to mention the bad location; the worst neighborhood in Athens, my view was of an abandoned building with people searching through the trash and using drugs. Overall, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at that has 4 stars, which are VERY poorly awarded because it should have 1 star.

Unacceptable

One of the worst living experiences I've ever had.
The room was in unacceptable condition. The window looked into a closed, dark lighthouse full of pipes and debris, with no substantial natural light or fresh air. The feeling was suffocating and the cleanliness incomplete — nothing to do with basic hospitality standards.
During my stay I faced a serious health problem with symptoms of food poisoning, which left me in a tragic state for two consecutive days, hung in bed. The situation worsened to the point that I had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance at night.
And yet, even in this situation, there was absolutely no support. When the reception was informed of the incident and the arrival of an ambulance, the reaction was limited to just a typical room number question — nothing more.
When I addressed myself at the reception, I explained that the food poisoning was probably related to food I had eaten at the hotel, as I hadn’t eaten anything else since morning. The answer I received was ironic and offensive, with comments like “you can believe whatever you want.”
In addition, when I was asked why no room change was requested earlier, I explained the obvious: I was in such a bad condition that I could hardly walk, I could not get down to the reception, and the room didn't even have a phone to communicate. It was practically impossible to get into a room change process under these circumstances.
The most outrageous thing is that while I was in this condition for two days, I was forced to stay in a room without ventilation and natural light, which made the situation even more unbearable.
I would not recommend it to anyone. When an accommodation cannot guarantee even the basics — cleanliness, human behavior and elementary interest in a need situation — then there is a serious problem.
